authors you NEED to check out. not because they're my friends and i'm plugging them (i actually don't know any of them) but because they're A-STINKIN-MAZING writers. you can't even understand until you experience their art:

tutncleo- NCIS. seriously jaw-dropping fics that you could get lost in, then want to read over and over and over. if you don't like tibbs or even slash, you will after you read her stuff, i guarantee it.

kejube- NCIS. she ships ZAbby, which immediately makes her kool. plus, her writing makes you feel everything the characters are feeling. it's pretty intense, and i love it.

Tatelah- NCIS. seriously some of the best Tiva i've ever read. like... you don't even understand. also, i've read "Probellion" like 5 times and it still makes me laugh.

piper maru duchovny- okay, her i actually do "know" (on twitter, etc.), but she's so stinkin' awesome as a person that it fully translates into her writing. plus she writes for like eeeeeeeverything. (i got to know her through House.) love you, Julia!
