A/N: I wrote this for the Crack!fic challenge at NCISflashfic. It sort of speaks for itself really.

DisclaimerI don't own NCIS or its characters. I only hope they can forgive me for what I've done to them. :)

There was silence in the bull pen. No one spoke a single word. Tony looked steadfastly at his computer typing up reports at a furious pace. Ziva was pretending to work. Not even Gibbs was saying anything. Silence. Then, the elevator doors opened and Tim stepped out. Annoyance warred with desperation on Tony's face as Tim walked by, also silent.

Finally, Tony could take it no longer and stood up. "McGee!" he said. Gibbs gave him a look and he sighed and looked around. Ziva was waiting expectantly.

Tim turned back toward Tony, also waiting.

Gritting his teeth, Tony sighed and then began to sing the chorus of a Bangles hit song, "Where were you when I needed ya? Where were you when I wanted ya? Where were you when I needed ya? Where?"

Everyone tried not to laugh and Tim blushed as he frantically sought for a song that would explain his whereabouts. Then, he shrugged helplessly and sang back, "Cause now again I found myself so far down, away from the sun that shines into the darkest place. I'm so far down, away from the sun again."

Tony pointed at the plasma screen and sang briefly, "Show me the way. Show me the way. Take me tonight to the river and wash my confusion away."

With a sigh of relief Tim nearly ran to his computer and put up the requisite information on the screen. Ducky had been kind enough to include a textual explanation of his findings.

Ziva stood up and looked at the screen, then turned to her colleagues and said, "Well..."

"Uh-uh!" Tony protested. He didn't continue, but she knew exactly what he meant.

Looking angry and embarrassed, she started to sing, "If looks could kill, you'd be lying on the floor. You'd be begging me please, please, baby don't hurt me no more. If looks could kill, you'd be reeling from the pain..." she trailed off when she couldn't remember any more words. Instead, she settled for shaking her fist at Tony.

Tony just smiled sheepishly and turned back to Tim singing, "Why, Georgia, why?"

Blushing furiously, Tim answered, shaking his head and singing, "Only the young can say. They're free to fly away."

Finally, Gibbs, who had been silent up to this point, stood and started to speak.

Almost immediately, Ziva interrupted him singing indignantly, "If I can learn to do it, you can learn do it."

Gibbs glared at her, but Ziva didn't back down. If she was going to be humiliated this way, so was he. Besides, she was curious as to what music he would pick.

Gibbs stood stiffly and then sang out, "Yakity yak! Don't talk back!" Then, he stalked off to the elevators.

Laughing openly, Tony sang to his back, "Boss! Don't let it end this way."

"All right. That's it." Gibbs turned around and faced his team. "That is the last time Abby gets to pick a theme day." The elevator doors opened and he stomped inside.

Thus ended the tradition of themed days at NCIS.
