Author has written 14 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, X-Men: The Movie, Scrubs, Labyrinth, Cry-Baby, Pitch Black / Riddick, and Angel. Welcome to my profile! Before you go on, I would like to inform you that all of my incomplete stories are currently on hiatus. Between two kids, a job and school, finding time to write has been extremely difficult and I fear my muses have fled from the daily chaos. Never fear, I do have intentions of dragging them back to finish the stories up. I hate leaving work unfinished. Just try to be patient with me, dearies. My name is Buffy Sparrow and I'm a 24 year old who has been writing stories for as long as I can remember. This obsession of mine started as just something to entertain myself in class, and then became encouraged by my friends. I'm also blessed by a wonderful fiancee who is my guiding star and is always very supportive. He forces me to write even when I think I can't produce anything of worth, helping me to create some of my best pieces. My son is the light of my life, even if he does tend to take time away from writing. And because every writer has their muse, here are mine. I love the character Spike off Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Most of my stories are written about him. I also write a lot about everyone's favorite captain, Jack Sparrow. Then there are my obsessions with Sands, Jareth, Logan, Mark, House, Riddick, Van Helsing, Dominic, the Joker, Sweeny Todd and Dr. Cox. Originality is important to me, so I try my best to make each story different and try to ensure that it doesn't sound like anything that's been written before. Some of my OC's sway toward the Mary-Sue side, but I also try to make them as life-like and original as possible. I would love to have people send me new stories to check out, even if it's their own, because most of my time is spent on here looking for new stuff to read. You get ideas from daydreaming. You get ideas from being bored. You get ideas all the time. The only difference between writers and other people is we notice when we're doing it. Neil Gaiman For your born writer, nothing is so healing as the realization that he has come upon the right word. Cathrine Drinker Bowen The only reason for being a professional writer is that you just can't help it. Leo Rosten The faster I write the better my output. If I'm going slow, I'm in trouble. It means I'm pushing the words instead of being pulled by them. Raymond Chandler A writer never has a vacation. For a writer life consists of either writing or thinking about writing. Eugene Ionesco Writer's block occurs when characters become sick of the shit author's put them through. Unknown |
