Hello! I just started reading this first installment of "Pastimes" last weekend and I must said it's intriguing.

I rarely can identify with a female lead, but with Emma it wasn't difficult. It's quite believable how you conveyed her fear, confusion, and adrenaline in every challenge the Joker gave her throughout the story. I like that she is able to defend herself, even taking such drastic measures as killing the thugs who tried to attack or rape her, and enjoying her delicious self-righteous internal debate.

She is so… neutral. I will continue reading this series. Its amazing.

i've read a few reviews that say that you made em an even better match for the joker than harley, and YUP THEY'RE RIGHT. ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

im rereading the entire series right after finishing it, and it's just funny to me how their relationship started off with em not wanting the joker to even be anywhere near her, and it ended up, well, won't want to spoil anything for first time readers... but yeah. it's so amazing.

This its the best Joker fic I have read to date. The planning and the cunning behind it all just makes it amazing, thanks for this story.

I recently watched TDK for the first time in years, and this was the first story I clicked on while going through the Joker/M tag. And I would just like to say: I was NOT disappointed. Your story was so enthralling, exhilarating, I was so excited to sit down and read it on my phone over the last several days. I have nothing but love for your OC. She was real, believable, and steadfast. And your depiction of the Joker had me singing, I was so pleased with the characterization. All in all, this was a thrilling ride from start to finish, and I am so happy that I read it. Suspense is my favorite genre of all time, regardless of the form of media, and it's safe to say I was not disappointed here. Is it wired that I find my personality so similar to the main character?

This is my second time reading this series, and if it were not for the fact that I'm African, 5"6 and born in '99 I'd say Emma was my doppelganger.

This fic is too real, too accurate, and (personally) morally unsettling.
