So I am now in chapter 16. The reason I waited so long to review was because I wanted to see what I really thought and felt about this story generally, in my earlier feelings were correct. It's my opinion that Jessica cries too much. (To be fair, I have been told in the past MANY times that I'm a cold and serious person.) The way people say that you don't know how you'll react in this situation until you're there is true, but only to an extent. If I were in that situation I would have cried too, but not that much and not that often. Especially because I was pretty much asking for it, exactly the way Jess was. Like every time just she lashes out at the Joker expecting him to just be like "Oh you don't like that, I'm really sorry. :( I should be more considerate of your feelings." It's so annoying to me that everytime she lashes out at him, she conveniently forgets he's basically a raging, that man obsessed psychopath. In the beginning I was really hoping she wouldn't cry this much, but here I am about halfway through and we're still here. There hasn't been much development in her as a character. There's only been a development in her feelings for the Joker ( or you could say towards the Joker at least.) I will say that the dialogue is quite good, never never felt like it was dragging on. In regards to the dialogue you wrote a lot better than what I could have ever written. The way you portrayed The Joker is perfect! I'm sorry to be harsh about the first part of this review, but the whole time I've had it on my chest and now that it's off I'm glad. Thank you.

Look, at first I wasn't so sure about this story. I mean a DC fangirl gets sucked into the Batman-verse and has to live out the movie? But man, if I aint a sucker for a good Joker x OC slow burn romance! Obviously I kept reading past the first chapter and that's because your ideas for this story were way more unique than any I've found on here. Not to mention that your writing is fantastic! I'll admit that I'm kind of the worst at remembering to leave reviews on stories I like but midway through this chapter I literally wrote a note to REMIND MYSELF to tell you how absolutely absorbed I am in this story. It actually pains me to stop reading just to leave this review but I know how special it is to find a review in your inbox. I love this story and I apologize for doubting you in the beginning. Now, back to the story!

I really love the idea, you know a sort of smooth transition from the real world to the comic world but man, do I hate Jess.
I really dislike how she keeps sucking up to the Joker, how she likes to think there's something underneath. I dunno what'll happen though because I don't think I can read anymore. Thanks for writing what you did though.

I've read this so many times, but only now did I realize the code was her name in numbers :'( you did an amazing job with this story, I always come back to it!

I really like this story! You handled the interaction between Jessica and Billy really well-they're both reacting realistically, which is so nice to see in fanfiction.

Wow! This story was incredible, you truely impress me. I think this story has actuallu helped me understand Harley a bit better too, even though she's not here in the story.

I don't know how anyone could have hated on this, the Joker was on point so much, and I loved the development of the relationship and how you explored the plot. AuGh it was so good! Just everything! You make me want to write a story! But now- to the sequel!

Ooh! I love this story! So she has been transported to Gotham somehow? Your story is so original and engrossing and I am glad I found it through another author's favorite stories post. I can't believe I somehow missed this! I also like that your story is finished and that there is a sequel to look forward to! I hope you're still writing!

This is too much, omg that "does this mean we're friends" kiss was AH i love it, it's so amazing. Can she just admit she likes him already and give in. I mean I know that the Joker in this point is only lustful and interested but I need her to give in to him already hahah
