She was only five

Her dad was a drunk

My two cents:

Knuckles and Julie-su are perfect for each other. And they ARE CANON! Way better than Rouge, all she wants is the freakin' Emerald, and she doesn't respect Knuckles' duty at all, nor does she respect the fact that Knuckles is already taken. At least, Julie-su actually cares and supports Knuckles and his duty as Guardian. She even volunteered to be the sacrifice to help Knuckles when he turned into Enerjak until Locke (Knuckles' dad) stepped in instead. Rouge would've just taken the Emerald and left. Pssh! And when Knuckles ''died'', she took the effort to learn more about him by talking to the Chaotix (his best buddies) and looking through some of his things.

I wish they had put her and the Dark Legion in the games instead of turning her into this Shade character, it just isn't the same. They should include them in Sonic X or a new tv show, Kinda like the SatAM series, but it goes into Knuckles' stories too. That would be cool!

Why do a lot of people portray Knuckles as stupid/dumb in their fanfics? I mean, he's not stupid at all! Gullible =/= Stupid. He has lived alone on an island practically all of his life guarding the Master Emerald! I don't see him act stupid in the games, and he hasn't been tricked since...Sonic Adventure, I believe. So, yeah...just wanted to get that off my chest. :)

About KnuxRouge:

I find them annoyingly too popular. I'll tolerate them when I'm bored, but...i don't know, they just bore me. They're just too overly-used pairings, not-to-mention most of the KnuxRouge stories I read are either crappy, unoriginal, or both, usually both. The only KnuxRouge story I actually liked a lot was a fanfic called "Sonic the Hedgehog: The Grind", it's very good, I find myself re-reading it a lot, mostly just the parts with Knux in it, but yeah. Also, I just don't like Rouge that much, she's just too...I don't know, just too much period. And big boobs does NOT equal beauty people! And just because Knux saved her doesn't mean "OMG THEY SO TOTALLY LUV EACH OTHER!!1!" Rouge is a flirt, she flirts with a lot of people, she's just too much for a shy guy like, Knuckles. And Knux doesn't like people who steal his emerald anyway! The reason he blushes is because he's not used to that kind of female attention. I'm sure if any other female flirted with him, he would've blushed just the same. Besides, Julie-su is prettier anyway...but that's my opinion. Some Knux yaoi pairings make more sense than Rouge to me. They just never appealed to me, even before I found out about Julie-su, which was around 2003.

I tried pairing them together when Rouge first came around, but I just found it boring, same with KnuxTikal, boring. KnuxAmy never occurred to me at the time because I thought she was too young, but I've seen it happen I think it's a rather cute couple. I was happy when I discovered Julie-su, finally someone to pair Knux with. And then I got into yaoi, which I didn't like at first, but it grew on me and now I'm a fan, weird. Okay, now I'm rambling so I'll just leave it here.

Looking back at some of my old stories and...wow. Definitely, horrible. And I've noticed some mistakes that, I didn't seem to notice before. Strange, I usually notice things like that. Oh well. One reviewer said I needed to work on my English? What, English is one of my best subjects, thank you! Anyway, I'm so glad my writing has improved since then. I hate my older stories, the one with my old OC in it was probably the worst. Ugh. x.x
