I'm still around, I promise. I will update my stories eventually, and I'm still reading. I'm a grad student, and school takes up a lot of time. I also put most of my creative energy into this little podcast I write and produce, so most of my writing time goes to that. I have two stories I'm currently working on, "Magnetic Rag" and "Of Ill Winds and Weathered Storms."

About Me:

I'm a twenty-something girl in grad school. Fanfiction is that thing I read when I'm stuck waiting in line or can't fall asleep, and something to write when I'm bored. I have more time to read than write, and I'm horrible at updating because I'm lazy/busy. I jump from fandom to fandom as my attention span permits. I'm getting old. This is my eleventh year on .

Current fandoms change all the time, but may include Welcome to Night Vale, MCU,Tintin, Teen Wolf, and anything else nostalgic that catches my eye. This changes on a rotating basis.

On "Magnetic Rag" (previously "The Van Pelt Saga")

I was 11/12 when I wrote what was previously posted as "The Van Pelt Saga," and then I abandoned it for years and years. I have only vague ideas about where I was going with it.

So, for the tenth anniversary of the fic/my time on this site, I decided to completely revamp it because I always had a weird fondness for it. It's now called "Magnetic Rag," and it'll be updated sporadically. It's taken a black comedy sort of turn, which I swear is the easiest way to reconcile whatever the hell I was thinking when I started it in middle school with my current writing style. It won't be more than eight or so chapters.

On "Of Ill Winds and Weathered Storms"

I haven't forgotten about Tintin and Haddock, I swear! I paused on this one a little while ago to make some major edits to the timeline of the story, which will probably be updated before there's a new chapter. But this story is not dead, I promise. There's plenty of action and adventure coming up for our boys.

Side note-- what's been most fun about this story is integrating my academic work into the narrative. Sharp readers can probably guess what classes I was taking when I started writing this my sophomore year of college (there's some of my accounting, music history, and Italian homework sprinkled throughout). Hilariously, I decided to set part of the story in a theater, with Tintin investigating how the owners run it ... Only to find myself studying arts administration in graduate school a few years later.

On Old Stories:
Please ignore everything written before 2009, and probably then some. I was young, and I didn't know what I was doing. (*shudders*)

All of my uncompleted stories pre-2009 are discontinued.

"Wishing Only Wounds the Heart"is a Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends fic I co-wrote with Dude13, years and years ago back when I wrote under an old penname. You can read it here. Please keep in mind that as awesome as Dude13 is, I was about 13 at the time and my portions of the story probably show it.

I'm hoping to revamp "Death of a Stoic" someday. My writing style has changed so much since then, but there's a lot I'd like to do with that piece.
