Hi all. I'm cuddlyhipster, known in real life as Aves, and known to pretty much every teacher I've ever had in class as "would-you-please-get-off-of-fanfiction.net-you're-supposed-to-be-taking-notes-this-will-reflect-in-your-grade." I'm not actually what one would classify as a hipster. It's my dad's nickname for me (the least embarrassing one, anyway) and yes, I'll admit to liking a lot of crap no one's ever heard of, but I'm not an a-hole about it...or at least, I'm not 100% dick ;)

As you could probably tell from the reference above, I am a huge, huge, HUGE Marvel film addict. The second I saw Guardians of the Galaxy I had an immediate spiritual connection with Peter Quill (I'll probably go into more detail about that later) and I am about as in love with Loki as it's possible to be. My stories will probably reflect this.

My favorite Marvel "things" are The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor/Thor: The Dark World, and pretty much anything that involves the Hulk because he's my favorite Avenger EVER.

I'm a writer, filmmaker, photographer, sometimes-actress and sometimes-dancer. I'm not too great at the last two things but I try, dammit.

I love music, and I love to write my own lyrics, with the hope that someday someone much better on the piano or guitar than I will come along and happily write music for them.

My favorite two movies EVER are The Avengers and Lords of Dogtown and if you've ever seen both of those you know just how crazy I am after reading that sentence.

I'm bi and write a metric crapton of slash. And being the idiot I am, I usually fall in love with the least-popular pairings (like Star Lord/Drax SERIOUSLY WHERE THE HELL IS ALL THE STAR LORD/DRAX FIC I'M DYING HERE)

I find Tumblr and fandom culture unbelievably interesting and hope to write a capstone about it for my last year of college...but I probably won't be able to, they're going to make me write it on film distribution instead :'(

I get addicted to a story, write it for weeks on end, abandon it, come back to it, and MAYBE finish it if I ever feel like it. It's a bad habit. I'm trying to break it, I swear.

I DO have a sense of humor...but it's sarcastic as hell (I TOLD you I connected with Star Lord on an emotional level, Jesus Christ) and I will confess to being a little on the foul-mouthed side, and by a little I mean my dad's favorite thing to do is mock me by repeating a sentence I've just said and inserting 50% more f-words. (Just keeping my profile clean takes tremendous effort, you have no idea.)

I LOVE nerds. And geeks. Really any sort of weird guys, weird girls, weird trans* people, weird people who don't conform to any gender at all...seriously the weirder you are the more I will love you.

On the other hand, I have a massive effing crush on Drax the Destroyer so idk what the hell that says about me.

SuperWhoLock kind of ate my life when I joined Tumblr.

I love feedback, I don't care how harsh it is. If I'm trying to get better, I even invite harsh reviews - only way to get better is to know what you're doing wrong.
