Hi there! I'm RedMage. I mostly read and write shoujo-ai and yuri on here. Currently I'm on a Sailor Moon kick (watched the anime, halfway through the manga and just finished PGSM) and ship Rei/Minako and Ami/Makoto. I also ship Mitsu (Mio/Ritsu) from K-On! and sort of want to become Ritsu Tainaka. I also wonder vaguely if the world would just violently implode if Minako and Ritsu should ever come into contact with one another.

Fun fact: I now have a profile on AO3 under the same name. There's other stuff there. The next chapters of both War and Ignominy and Crab Apples are in the works, but, until then, have a Carmilla story. It's called In Which There Are No Interruptions.

UPDATE 06/04/15

The race chapter of War and Ignominy has finally been uploaded, which means the beginning of this arc is almost over. I know nine chapters is an awfully long lead-up period but please understand how much it is killing me to keep these villains hidden. Trust me, it's hurting me a lot more than it's hurting you.

UPDATE 30/12/14

I apologise wholeheartedly for being such a slow-poke lately. I've been writing an original project and have been focusing all of my energy on that. However, I have finally just started writing Chapter Seven of War and Ignominy and want to do more for my one-shot projects to flex my creative (and nerd) muscles. I need another K-On! kick to get back into The Cover but that isn't exactly an improbability. I hope to get more material to you as soon as possible.

ONGOING PROJECTS

I have one-shot projects I use to get my brain working and exercise my skills. These are Defining Love and Defining Sparks, and the words I pick are either randomly generated or, more likely, words where I am unclear of their definition. I work them in as titles of stories to help me remember and expand my vocabulary. You know, because nerd.

I might start a one-shot collection for Mitsu one day. I have an idea for it, but we'll see.

EPICS

War and Ignominy has been in my head as an idea for a while now and I am mega invested in it (however much my stunted progress may convince you otherwise). I think of it as an alternate reality Sailor Moon arc post-Stars, not least because it inflates my own sense of self-importance. Privately the arc has a name... but I can't reveal it yet.
