Author has written 17 stories for Supernatural, Avatar, Twilight, Hunger Games, and Vikings. I'm Jo, by the way. I've been writing since I was nine years old, and recently, I realized two things. I cannot write summaries worth crap, and I'm obsessed with changing the past. I've been coming on here for as long as I can remember, reading fiction on my favorite tv shows, movies and books, and I always wanted to set up account. I guess this was the right time. I love people who read my stories. And I love people who give me good advice concerning my stories. I'm not a stickler for handing out compliments either. I believe in positive reinforcement, so I like to get it too. I'm a HUGE Supernatural fan, and so far, I loved Season 14. Ready for Season 15. I love Charmed, Smallville, Heroes, Roswell and Blood Ties. I've also become thoroughly obsessed with The Originals, Reign, Teen Wolf, Game of Thrones and Vikings. My fandoms include but are not limited to: Marvel, THG, HP, all of the above mentioned, plus a lot of things I can't think of now. There could be potential stories in the future. I'm a Leo, and I love my bed - for sleeping anyway, and it calls to me nightly. "Come to me!" Most nights, I oblige. Some nights, I simply sit in front of my computer and ponder. Don't forget to tell me what you think of the stuff I post. There will be more. Update 06/09/2014: This is going to make me sound really terrible, because I know I have stories that aren't finished, but until I can get caught up on some of my original stories, I'm only going to be updating one story at a time. The ones that haven't been updated in a while might not get updated for a long time, and for that, I apologize. I still plan on finishing those that are nearly finished, but what can I say? My fandoms are changing, as are my tastes in stories. Just message me if you have any questions about them. 03/02/13 New Update! I've made a FictionPress account for my original stories. Go here -- http://www.fictionpress.info/u/903949/ or search "alexajaye1379". I'm just getting started, but if you've got an account over there, drop me a line and let me know what you think. Hopefully, I'll see you there! I also now have some images for my story, Dark Angel: Light Within Darkness, up at Photobucket. http:///albums/bb456/alexajaye3179/Dark/ Be warned -- there will eventually be spoilers there. The lovely banners were made by annamorphos over at Twilighted. And I also have images for my story, The Ties that Bind, up on my Photobucket. http:///albums/bb456/alexajaye3179/The/ Now I have images up for my newest story, The Choices We Make, on my Photobucket. I also made myself a banner for the story. Go check it out http:///albums/bb456/alexajaye3179/The/ I've added some images for my Edward/Carlisle story, Rainbows and Storm Clouds. There are some new faces there, and they look the way I envisioned them. http:///albums/bb456/alexajaye3179/Rainbows/ For everything else, you can just go to the main folder, which has a few new additions. http:///albums/bb456/alexajaye3179/ Quotes: "Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe." - Voltaire "Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe." - Saint Augustine "Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. "If we don't end war, war will end us." - HG Wells Due to economic downturn and budget cuts, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off. - Unknown, but still funny "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination." - Albert Einstein "Logic will get you from point A to B; Imagination will take you everywhere." - Albert Einstein “Forgive me my nonsense, as I also forgive the nonsense of those that think they talk sense.” - Robert Frost “Never make a defense or apology before you are accused.” - King Charles I Intus mihi vires means "My strength comes from within." Courage, dear heart - C S Lewis More to come . . . Poems . . . "Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal" is a poem written by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. It was first published in 1847, in The Princess: A Medley. Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal Now sleeps the crimson petal, now the white; Nor waves the cypress in the palace walk; Nor winks the gold fin in the porphyry font: The firefly wakens: waken thou with me. Now droops the milkwhite peacock like a ghost, And like a ghost she glimmers on to me. Now lies the Earth all Danaë to the stars, And all thy heart lies open unto me. Now slides the silent meteor on, and leaves A shining furrow, as thy thoughts in me. Now folds the lily all her sweetness up, And slips into the bosom of the lake: So fold thyself, my dearest, thou, and slip Into my bosom and be lost in me. The Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred Tennyson. Half a league, half a league, Forward, the Light Brigade!" Cannon to right of them, Flash'd all their sabres bare, Cannon to right of them, When can their glory fade? A message about honor and courage. Ironies -- Triskaidekaphobia - The fear of the number 13 (My birthday is on the 13th, and in 2010 it was on a Friday) non timebo mala - "I will fear no evil" in Latin |
