1-13-2015: 2000 words done for chapter 6 expect it out in the next couple days and it will be about 3K. Only 11 reviews out of 1060 views? C'mon guys let me know what you think.

1/31/2015: FYI:

Magical Quotient 1-100 Muggle or Squib,

100-499 Wizard: Most of the Wizarding World fits in here somewhere. Dean, Seamus, Lavander, Parvati, Mundungus etc. Have trouble with higher levels of Transfiguration, DADA and complex charms.

500-599 Sorcerer 80th percentile. Remus, Ron, Tonks capable of NEWT level subjects but find masteries difficult or impossible in wand magics.

600-699 Grand Sorcerer 90th percentile Sirius 690, Lucius 635, Regulus 650 capable of masteries on wand subjects with hard work.

700-799 Arch Sorcerer 95th percentile. Lily 748, Severus 795, the Lestrange brothers and the Longbottoms. Difficulty performing only the most complex magic. Auras are present during times of emotional distress.

800-899 Mage 99th percentile. Voldemort 825 then 898 due to rituals, Dumbledore 870, James 825, Charlus 810, Bella 840, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. An Aura of power surrounds these individuals at all times and must suppressed. Voldemort and Bella use it to intimidate people.

900-999 Arch Mage both Harry’s 960, Gryffindor, Slytherin. Difficult to suppress this Aura unless you have a place to siphon it off to like wards or lay lines.

1000 Grand Arch Mage. Merlin

This is simply a way of measuring ones potential. Obviously intelligence, confidence, hard work and experience matter. A difference of 50 points make little practical difference, much more important in practical matters is other characteristics. IE: Ron is lazy, Hermione is hard working, Remus is methodical, James is young when Voldemort killed him or Voldemort would have had a harder time of it. People of similar power gravitate to one another.
