Reviews for Life And What Comes After
SnowflakesandMozart chapter 22 . 2/5
This chapter hit me right in the feels, as they say. Hooray for honesty and confession and forgiveness. Anakin has finally learned to let go (at least to an extent). And Obi-Wan has learned to show his deepest feelings, at least to Anakin. I probably said this in an earlier review, but I'll say it again here at the end. I love the way you write them, both as individuals and in their relationship. How there's so much under the surface of what they say, even in this chapter where they're finally digging into the deepest truths of their hearts. If only their friendship could have been so strengthened in canon.

This story certainly stands on its own and the ending is very satisfying. That said, I would enjoy reading more in this AU. It would be grand to see how these changes between them and Anakin's greater maturity affect the rest of the war and Palpatine's schemes. Does he still succeed in toppling the Republic? I assume Anakin is not seduced to the Dark Side (you dropped a few hints in that direction). But does his distance from the Chancellor mean he won't be in a position to bring him down? And what about the secrets Anakin is still keeping? What will happen when he confesses those to Obi-Wan? So many intriguing possibilities! But only if you want to write them. If you don't, I'll just imagine them for myself.

Yay! So much fluff! I really loved the way Anakin matured through the story. In the epilogue it was still so Anakin but he seemed older. Wiser.
Thank you for sharing your talents. :)

SnowflakesandMozart chapter 11 . 1/31
The action, when it came, was very exciting. I found my palms sweating through the last several paragraphs. Your writing flowed seamlessly throughout the chapter, and I was carried along. Very satisfying!

Some answers! Yay! And the feels...
Great work.
SnowflakesandMozart chapter 1 . 1/29
This is heart-wrenching and powerful. I already like the change grief has brought about in Anakin
The Jingo chapter 23 . 12/10/2019
This was excellent, both as a general divergence and as character exploration for Anakin, Obi-Wan, Mace, and Ahsoka.

Please consider a sequel about how this impacts the rest of the verse.
Dude chapter 23 . 10/27/2019
Very nice. Mace was the best though.
A sequel would be amazing.
Dude chapter 15 . 10/25/2019

Are you going to write a sequel!? This fic totally 100% needs a sequel!
Antonia Rose chapter 23 . 8/12/2019
This is a really good fanfic, I love the way you write and your story was really compelling. I really hope Obi-Wan can recover well from this.
Ruindil chapter 23 . 6/23/2019
I'm so impressed at how you wrote Anakin! You really fleshed out what how his character would have been like if he took time to actually learn to be a Jedi. It makes me so happy to see how your story showed him at peace with and truly understanding Jedi philosophies, and understanding that everyone falls short in the execution sometimes.

And the way you wrote Anakin and Obi-Wan's very complex relationship made my heart flutter, not gonna lie. Reading this has been an amazing experience, truly. Thank you so much for writing this!
Guest chapter 23 . 5/21/2019

SpencerBrown chapter 18 . 12/31/2018
This is so sweet! You write their closeness and the bond so well. I can’t wait to see where you’ll take them through the rest of your tale.
Thanks for sharing!
SpencerBrown chapter 17 . 11/28/2018
This story is absolutely wonderful. I love how much Anakin has grown up in Obi’s absence, while still being his passionate, flawed self.
I can’t wait to see more of how you characterize Obi, now that he’s himself again. The open, relaxed Obi was beautiful. How different will he be now?
Thanks for sharing!
