I wish I had the motivation to act on all the ideas I get for fanfiction, but this is not a perfect world, so I'll try to make do with what I got...

Twelfth of May, Two Thousand Twenty Status Update

Currently writing on Hiatus. Sorry!

Online university courses are taking a huge bite out of me. And keeping up with all the homework is a massive problem for me personally because I simply don't have a good memory for things like remembering when an assignment is due or even just remembering it exists. Hanging out with my friends on Discord and playing different games also plays a huge role in stopping me from writing - we usually convene in the evenings which is when I used to write. However, due to the ongoing pandemic all of us have massively shifted schedules and can only keep up with each other in the evenings now, as opposed to before. I still manage to put aside some time for my fiction but not enough to write anything substantial down. I try to take notes of what progress I make on the various fanfics, and some original stuff too, but honestly writing down an hour's worth of rambling is hard and it's just easier to remember it all. If I can scrounge up enough time to write out a few hundred words, along with finding that time on a day where I'm not already demotivated by assignments, I can see myself making huge progress but I've yet to find such a day.

Current Status of Published Fiction:

- Fairy Tail's Celestial: Some plot stuff was solidified so the future is not as nebulous as before although it's still not entirely clear. Might have a work around for the part I was stuck at before.

- PRT Threat Assessment Files: I have lots of ideas for new people in this setting and the Coil Escape bit is much more defined than previously but there's not gonna be any news on this front for a bit.

- 100% OJ Drabble Collection: I'm not doing OJ drabbles at the moment though I do happen to have some Touhou ones that will see the light of day at one point. Also now that I look at it, I do have two unreleased OJ drabbles. Huh. After I post those two, this is the least likely thing to get updated out of all the stuff I have, because if I have the energy and time to write I won't be spending it on this.

- The Non-Existent Perspective: Hoo boy, where do I begin with this one? One reader did reach out to me about this and I'll say the same thing I said to them: I had absolutely no God Damned Idea where I was going with it when I first posted it and I quote myself here:

"The first chapter of it was a product of a few nights of passion with my laptop's keyboard and the white screen hurting my eyes in the middle of the night. There was nothing planned for the except the beginning and two scenes. I really did go and think "wow, but wouldn't this be cool" and then I went and started the fic from the f* middle chronologically like an idiot, an absolute buffoon, a moron of Shakespearean proportions.".

In other news Perspective will be undergoing the Dreaded Re-Write. It will start from the beginning and not the middle of it's plot and after spending a few hours working it out, I now am in possession of knowledge of the chain of event leading us from point A to point B. Will the existing chapters go down once I get started on the Re-Write? Possible, but doubtful. They're likely to receive an overhaul/remaster once I get to them.

Future-wise, when I do get back in the action, I'm highly likely to start cross posting to SB and SV. Just a heads up in case you're already on those sites that you may see me in the future or might have already seen me commenting on some threads. Unlikely, but the chance exists.
