Hiccup's creative brain goes a mile a minute, and he's been neglecting himself in favor of his projects. Astrid's not having it.

Hiccup mends Astrid's busted hand, but she perceives a double standard has him less than impressed with how she got the injury in the first place. Takes place post-GOTNF.

Post HTTYD3. Life continues on for the residents of New Berk. Hiccup grapples with the loss of his best friend, the stress of building a new village from the ground up, and the promise of an eternity with the love of his life.

It's not that Hiccup and Astrid like leaving their kids to go to archipelago-wide meetings, but it certainly makes for an amazing time to see that they haven't lost their spark just yet. Oneshot.

Astrid has a sudden and startling realisation about her best friend. Old thoughts and feelings that she was sure she had buried within herself years ago are starting to surface. So, what's she going to do about it?

After the realization hit her, it was impossible for Astrid to look at him the same way anymore. (Aka being a teenager and having a crush on your best friend is the best set-up for prom night.)

Zephyr talked. She babbled like there was no tomorrow, like they understood her. So of course, Hiccup talked to her like he did. Oneshot.

Astrid and Hiccup's "romantic flight" comes to an abrupt end when the Red Death follows them out of the nest. Following an unexpected and desperate fight, Astrid finds herself stranded on an island, injured, with a crippled and comatose Hooligan heir and his overprotective Night Fury. She's going to get them home—all three of them—or die trying.

Hiccstrid - canonverse/post-HTTYD3 - POSSIBLE SPOILERS! - As time goes by, Astrid faces one of her most dangerous fights, and Hiccup can't help her. But in the end, the price was worth every risk, and the wind of change brings solace to healing wounds.

The baby can't sleep, so Astrid can't sleep. That means, Hiccup can't sleep either.

"Can I stay for a while?" Astrid felt her cheeks heat up at what she was about to admit. "I don't feel like being alone right now."

"Astrid, you and I both know you're much tougher than I am. You're more brave, and a better fighter…but just for a little while...could we pretend that I'm the one protecting you?" "Oh gods yes!"

During a battle with the Dragon Hunters, Ruffnut is struck down with an arrow. She is taken to Berk, though it is uncertain if she will survive. Fueled with rage and despair, Tuffnut wants to exact his revenge. But his friends will not let him, nor will they let him suffer, on his own. For he is a dragon rider, and the riders and their dragons are one.

The gang is settling in at Dragon's Edge. To make sure everything operates smoothly, Hiccup suggests a chore rotation system. That means everyone has to do their fair share of the cooking... but it doesn't mean everyone is a fair cook. A Race to the Edge fanfiction.

A simple dare from Astrid to Snotlout is all it takes for the teens to engage in a one-for-all dare off. How far will they be able to go before they either end up killing each other or drive Stoick crazy?

The fight in him remained, though they'd never know the truth. The war they faced was his as well, and only he could end it. His people, as he loved them, hated him in equal measure, but he'd kill that awful creature, probably see his own end by doing so, and even if they never knew, at least they would be safe.

"Hiccup had always been small, but even small boys grow up to be men one day." Hiccup finally hits a growth spurt, but things go downhill from there. Growing up was never meant to be this hard, or this awkward. But maybe, in time, they'll all get used to it.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III's name, purposefully odd as it is, is meant to be troll-proof, according to Berk's folklore. The only thing he can't get is why a certain Astrid Hofferson was named as such. Maybe it was time he found out? Astrid x Hiccup.
