Based on an idea that popped into my head last night. Voyager was traveling at Warp, after leaving behind the 37's, when the ship encountered a subspace anomaly that brought it to the Pegasus Galaxy in another reality.

I love this episode, but as a health professional, parts of it are simply preposterous. So what really happened to Lt. Thomas Paris after achieving Warp 10 in Threshold?
