Author has written 2 stories for Phantom of the Opera. Welcome to my profile. I just realized (since I'm usually not on my own profile page) that my profile has not been updated for close to four years. That's kinda sad. Not that there's really much to say... I'm 22 years old, and I love to read. Once I've read a novel or series, or watched a movie, I'll usually come to this site and read all sorts of fan fiction about it. I think that a well written fan fiction, even if it is AU, or changes pairings, or simply continues where the story left off, enhances the story itself. Having another person's perspective on who a certain character is allows me to explore that character and end up with a much deeper understanding of them, and, if I particularly liked the character, a deeper connection to them. ...Okay, I know that sounds weird. Blame it on the interest in behavioral psych. I tend to get attached to certain characters. Not that anyone else on this site has ever done that... :-P I love Phantom of the Opera. It was the story that made me realize that fan fiction existed, actually. My first fictional character "love" was Erik. I'm in the process of writing a Phantom story as we speak, called Not an Angel, Just Erik. Some of you know that, I'm sure. I've put it up and taken it off this site a couple of times, because I keep changing my mind on certain aspects. I've decided that I'm not going to post it again until I have at least 10 chapters that I am happy with. I've recently discovered anime, and let me tell you, there are a LOT of good anime and manga out there. I've only watched/read Fushigi Yuugi and Fruits Basket to completion, and am working on Efen Lied, Inuyasha, and Rurouni Kenshin, but the list of anime that my friends say that I "must" watch is growing by the day. And for as many great anime that there are out there, there are many more fantastic stories to read. I don't have enough time in the day for all of this! I have to pretend to have a normal life outside of the fictional world on occasion. Though I'm currently not qualified to be a beta reader by 's standards (though I hope to remedy that soon), I am willing and able to be a beta for anything that you need help with. As I hope that you can tell by my story that I posted, I'm pretty good at spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. And if you need help with characters or plot, I'll probably be willing to read or watch whatever story your story originates from so that I can help with that as well. I have a Fushigi Yuugi story in the works right now, and hope to have a few chapters out in the next couple of months. My favorite pairings: (warning: spoilers ahead!!) Phantom of the Opera Erik/OC: I think that he deserves far more than Christine is able to give him, though I have read plenty of EC fics that have proven me wrong Christine/Raoul: I think that they are far better suited for each other than Erik and Christine. I know, I know. The one story that I currently have posted is an EC phluff phic. It was originally written to placate the characters in my head while all the angst was going on in Not an Angel, which, as I said, is on hiatus for a while. That one is E/OC. Fruits Basket Tohru/Kyo: I think that the two of them are so cute together, and each of them is exactly what the other needs them to be. Shigure/Akito: There is so much drama and turmoil surrounding this relationship, but they truly do love each other. Kyo/Yuki: Okay, I admit to reading the occasional yaoi fic. These two fight so passionately with each other, it seems only natural that they would get together. Although I do prefer Kyo to be with Tohru if given the choice. Fushigi Yuugi Miaka/Tasuki: They're such a fun pair. Much more fun than Tamahome and Miaka. That couple, even through all that they went through, always seemed a bit too easy for me. Not to mention I adore Tasuki. Hotohori/Nuriko: I suppose this technically counts as yaoi too, huh? I don't know, I still have a hard time referring to Nuriko as a guy. Inuyasha Inuyasha/Kagome: Even though she is kinda mean to him, I think that they're good together. Sesshoumaru/Kikyo: I haven't read any stories with this pairing yet, but I think that it would be interesting, mostly because neither of them seem to readily show their emotions, but their emotions run deep nonetheless. Again, blame the interest in behavioral psych. I think that it would definitely be a couple I would like to see develop. And just think of the drama that it would cause between the brothers. :) Okay, I think that's all for now. When I have stories to update, I'll have more to put in my profile. Ja ne, Angel |
