Bio (The Not-Very-Serious Edition)

I'm a nerd of all trades and a master of one. I have bachelor's degrees in English and East Asian studies and a master's degree in Creative Writing. To pay the bills, I work as a technical writer. To not pay the bills, I devour novels and comics, watch far too much anime, and cheer very loudly for the Kansas Jayhawks.

As you can tell from my list of stories, I'm a pretty devoted anime fan. My favorites are (probably) Revolutionary Girl Utena, Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju, Ouran High School Host Club, Baccano!, The Eccentric Family, and Slayers. Both Fushigi Yugi and Pokemon hold very warm, fuzzy places in my heart as well. I like plenty more, too, but way too many to name.

These days I'm too busy focusing on essays, edits, and originals to write much fanfiction, but there's always a chance the Ficcin' Bug will bite me again. Outside of the FF realm, I'm running The Josei Next Door () and rocking that 9-to-5 "real person job" thing. Wish me luck!
