Author has written 86 stories for Tsubasa Chronicle, Fullmetal Alchemist, Avatar: Last Airbender, Chrono Crusade, Naruto, Ouran High School Host Club, Spiral, D N Angel, Loveless, and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. CHAIN BLABBERbox; The name I go by is Hotaru, and I am currently fifteen years old. I have a brother and a sister by the name of Zaid and Sana. I like the following: Sushi, prose (both reading and writing), poptarts, cosplaying, pumpkin pie, reviewers, Chrno Crusade, Loveless, Fullmetal Alchemist, and a handful of other anime/manga series. The classes I am fondest of include English, Computer Studies, and Physical Education. As for writing, that is a passion I've had since a young age. My father used to not let me go to sleep each night until I wrote him a hundred word story (in grade five), and in grade two I wasn't allowed to go to class in the mornings unless I read him a short book, first. In addition to that, he also made me do "dictionary searches" so I would know how to find words. I hated doing all of the above until grade seven, when an author was brought into our class and assigned us to write a story about anything. The grade I recieved was 90, and that provided all the courage I needed to stop the man in the hallways and declare, "I want to be a writer when I grow up!" His reply was along the lines of, "Well, okay then. You're not good enough yet, but with some practice, anyone can do it." Not very reassuring, but my whole life eventually spun around those short words of inspiration. I worked at writing, then worked at it some more, joined a writing group, wrote a novel, and am currently a columnist in the Newspaper. Some of my prose and poetry pieces have been published in a book, and I am now the President of my writing group, whom I have grown to love and trust. The stories that I favorite have either made me die laughing, crying, are written by a close friend, or I find inspirational. Favorited authors are for these reasons: BeyondInsanity is for my LONG-time online friend, named Hina, account shared with her friend Ana; Snowberrie is another long-time online friend (almost just as long- between three and five years); and Maiden of the Moon is a very talented writer, with a huge collection of fanfictions that I could only dream of achieving. If you want to be friends with me, then just say, "Hello! I've seen you around here, and I wouldn't mind being your friend." Honestly, something just along those lines. I usually pick up a few friends with every anime I write for, but I delete them after we lose contact. I'm always cleaning out my favorited lists to keep them as short as possible. This skin is in the way. Separating you and me... BULLETINboard; March 9: Looks like everyone is creating lents for Easter! So, I have hereby decided that in honor of that fact I will write as many fanfiction as I can until the April 16th. Yes, I know you're supposed to give up something to make it a lent, and since instead I'm doing something... I shall therefore call it my 'lentil'. My lentil is to write as many fanfiction as I can, then. I think my goal will be twenty. That sounds right. June 29: Leaving for four days, so I won't be by a computer for a while and can't add anything. Sorry~. September 9: School is within the next few weeks. That means that I'll be back in contact with my writing group, so either the number of fanfictions that I write will go up or down depending on homework and inspiration. October 1: Ugh, math class is dumb. I have to do a lot of studying with this super-picky teacher, and fighting in 'alone time' is very rare. Plus I have my new duties as secretary for my writing group, and maintaining straight A's... I'll try to fit some more pieces in when I can. August 22: I haven't written a fanfiction in forever. A recent obsession with Loveless has prompted me to start again, however. Got to know me yet? |
