Writing has gotten my attention during my senior year of college. However, I’ve always written simplistic stories all my life. It just took a while to be confident enough grow out of my comfort zone, and post stories publicly. Practice makes perfect; main reason why I cringed at my old works.

Never been much of a reader, more of a movie fanatic, and I fully admit to that, but my favorite novels would have to be Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, and Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The Female Quixote by Charlotte Lennox is also another interesting read that grew on me. A new short story, "The One and Only Ivan" by Katherine Applegate, has been a new favorite read recently. A quick little page turner which pulls at the heartstrings...

Fandoms:

Late to the Kingsman party, but I always enjoy those potential, slow burning couples that, of course, never canon. Eggsy x Roxy (Reggsy) is that ship that start out as friendship, and turn into a romantic relationship. I like realism.

SING (2016) has been quite an obsession as of late. For some reason, this animated film was an instant favorite when walking out of the movie theaters (12x). Johnny was definitely a fave character. Maybe because I'm just a fan of gorillas, but he captured my heart. However, Ash's sassiness also drew me in pretty quick. Of course, after seeing those small interactions and instances between them, I fell into the Jash ship! The thought of a gentle gorilla with a sassy little porcupine is just too cute!

I didn’t grew up with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I was aware of them. Sure, I arrived late to the TMNT fandom, but I’m happy to participate. The 1990 Ninja Turtles film is definitely my favorite version, mainly because of Raphael’s sassiness. Didn’t realize it, but I’m drawn to Raphael (my favorite turtle) because we share similar personality traits.

I tend to go with romance that isn’t quickly labeled as ‘love at first sight.’ I don’t believe in it. Love takes time, not with just a glance. With that being said, I will always ship Raphael/April, no matter what. Don't care about canon, or what others/story writers say.

Walking Dead was a show I never thought I’d be constantly watching. It's the only zombie fantasy world I find realistic. I grew to appreciate the characters and each of their stories. The idea of these people uniting, even though they didn't know each other beforehand, is just fascinating. And Caryl keeps everything glued together--and sweetly adorable in this post-apocalyptic universe.

Teen Titans is another series I like, yes, even the new rebooted Go! version. Superheroes (and monsters) are just plain fun. DC over Marvel; only because of Batman. I had forgotten that Raven is my favorite among the titans. BBrae will always be in my heart. Even to this day, I try to find some angst/romantic fics of them.

And how could I forget about Zutara in Avatar the Last Airbender. Season after season I diligently watched the series, focused on Zuko and Katara's blossoming relationship. Alas, my ship didn't end up being canon, but fan-art and fan-fictions kept me at ease. Zuko's voice actor, the truest Zutara fan there is, recited a lovely quote I cherish even to this day.
