Last updated Sep 2015... I really should get into the habit of checking that BEFORE I read. I also somehow made the mistake of thinking there were 20 chapters, so when I reached the end of this chapter boy was I surprised!

Well it's a good story (which is why it's abandoned). The plot is great. The pace is nice. Perfect balance of dialogue, action, and description. Just well rounded and with the perfect amount of drama without being unrealistic.
Sooo that's that I guess.

I really hope you haven't left this for dead. This an amazing story and I hope you finish it...I've been waiting a looong time for an update.

Ah! It's... I've read it all? It only goes up to Chapter 16 at the moment, last update last year. I hope you'll come back to this. I like that you went with brain damage combined with actual reality. I've seen soap operas that go super cheesy with this, but you had some kind of basic, realistic reactions in here. Like Casey getting pissed. And April trying to justify lies with good intentions, and getting all mixed up. And Leo refusing and just trying to explain the truth. And people not dramativally overheating each other at every turn. Some of the recap chapters written in another point of view I skimmed a bit, and just read when there was actual new information, you know? But overall I was enjoying this, righ up to the end of chapter 16 and realizing that that's all that's been posted. I genuinely don't know how you'll end this, either. I can see it going a million ways, including really depressing ways where everything blows up in their faces. I'm going to follow! One day you'll come back to this. Don't want to miss it when it happens.

Ohhhh my gawd! What an intense story! You are so gifted in your storyteling! I feel like im right in the room with them! You make it feel like you could cut through all the drama and tension with a machete! Poor April! I can totally feel the stretch of her sanity!
