Author has written 9 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, Generator Rex, and Tangled. Hi! I love ATLA, for me it's a cherished childhood tv show, but it's special because even now I can still watch the show with the same enjoyment. A Little bit about me: 1) Well lets see... I loved going to school. 2) I absolutely love reading; some of my favourite books are the Slated Trilogy, When I was Joe, Hunger Games and other books by Sophie McKenzie and John Grisham. Even though I love reading and the way these authors write are amazing, I'm not very good at writing, so I apologise if my stories are not to a high standard, but I'll try my best. 3) I'm Coptic Orthodox Christian and proud of it :) 4) I admit I'm not the most healthiest person due to the stuff I eat, but I love sports always have, always will. I mainly like Rounders, Football (though don't really support a team, I watched nearly all the matches in the last World Cup and it was awesome!), Netball, but I guess the sport I'm best at is Badminton. 5) I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and AS Law. Then went on to get a degree in Biomedical Science. Now, I'm studying Medicine; thank you God. It's unfortunate that the Generator Rex fandom is dying down, it's too great a show to just be forgotten. I urge everyone who loves this program to continue writing in this area, because it deserves it. Some of my favourite quotes from ATLA: 1) "Even though you'll probably fail over and over again, you have to try every time. you can't quit because you're afraid you might fail." 2) "No! I will never, ever turn my back on people who need me!" 3) "The monks used to say that revenge is like a two headed rat-viper...while you watched your enemy go down...you were being poisoned yourself." 4) "Forgiveness is the first step you have to take to begin healing." 5) "No, that's the problem. You've got to stop thinking like an Airbender. There's no different angle, no clever solution, no trickity trick that's going to move that rock. You've got to face it head on." 6) "You'll have another chance. I know you will." Other Quotes I like: 1) "The clock is running. Make the most out of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present. 2) "Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed." 3) "If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you." 4) "Life is too short to fight and argue. Count your blessings, value your friends and move on with your head held high and a smile for everyone." I usually write ATLA and occasionally Generator Rex fanfics, but I'm open to suggestions. Here is a couple of stories there I find inspirational: A teenage girl about seventeen named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as they shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall, elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley, she noticed a man standing at the end as though he was waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly, a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped around her; she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been harassed in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by the tragedy and the fact that it could've been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young lady, she decided to go to the police station. She felt that she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two, tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe it or not, you're not alone. Did you know that 98 of 100 teenagers would not stand up for God, and 93 of 100 people that read this won't repost it? Another one... When I saw a cashier hand this little boy his money back, the boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The Cashier said, 'I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll.'' The little boy turned to the old woman next to him, ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?'' She replied, ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.'' Then she asked ...him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. 'It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.' I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. 'No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.' His eyes were so sad while saying this, 'My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.'' My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said, 'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.' Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me 'I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me.' 'I love my mommy and I wish she didn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.' Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. 'Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll!'' OK' he said, 'I hope I do have enough.' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said, 'Thank you God for giving me enough money!' Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!'' 'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.'' 'My mommy loves white roses.' A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine, and in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him Ask Yourself Why? Why do we ((sleep)) in church,- But stay ((awake)) through a 2 hour movie? IMPORTANT: I would like to say something that has been bothering me for a while now. 26 May 2017, we see yet another attack on Coptic Christians, and I want to ask why? Why isn't something be done about it? After terrorists attacks, people always say RIP and write how sad they feel, yet nothing is done about it. Again and again and again we see attacks. Three times the Coptic community has been attacked, all in a space of 6 months. Are we facing a genocide, simply because of our belief in Christ? Will there be a time where Coptic Christians become a figment of the past? No, that won't happen. There was a time when Egypt was a Christian country. So why are we being driven out? Why is no one doing anything about it? There are many people in authority, yet we don't see action. I hope one day I will see a brighter, safer and more happier future for all people to coexist in. But such a future won't exist if everyone continues to sit on the side lines. I implore you all to stand up and act, don't let this devastation continue to slide by silently. Thank you for reading this. I don't wish to offend anyone, but rather to give a message of truth and strength. To those who are suffering, you are not alone, we stand together in solidarity. Times are rough but it's all working towards a beautiful result, remember this. Repost if you agree. Favourite Characters: My favourite characters in ATLA is: Katara = You've got to love her fierce determination, standing by what she believes and her continuous caring attitude. Aang = he's sweet, forgiving and understanding, he'll always try to what he can to solve a problem. Sokka, who is always able to turn the most miserable situations into a bright one. I really like Toph too, she's humorous, yet intelligent, tough yet gentle inside, mature and knows when to wise up, alert yet likes to have fun, just a general overall personality that I admire. (I guess that's nearly everyone...) In Generator Rex my favourite characters are: Rex and Holiday, I like the motherly-son relationship as Rex doesn't have a biological parent figure (well not that he remembers anyway) and Holiday reveals her caring attitude more than a few times throughout the series. I also like the bond between Six and Rex, from which I dedicated my most recent fanfiction, Forgotten. Birth Month Traits: Also I'm quite interested in Birth Month traits, and what I find fascinating is that most of the time they are right! This is mine: December Loyal and generous My stories: ATLA: Tribulation On My Own (completed) [Multi-chapter] Will They Ever Understand (completed) [Multi-chapter] Sokka's Guilt (completed) [One-shot] How could you?
