I'm a sixty year old man who is looking at retirement 'soon'. I read a lot and in so doing passed on my love of reading to my daughter. She is the one who introduced me to the Harry Potter books when they first came out. I kept up with them and so, she and I talked about them as they progressed. It was a topic that kept us together, something that we could do together in addition to going to the movies, beach, shopping, yard sales, church, music that Dad's and Daughters normally do and talk about together. I'm not necessarily that great of a writer, so for me, writing is an enjoyable passtime. I'm not doing this for academic credit, scholastic research, nor for any kind of accuracy - Just for plain old enjoyable reading and answering the 'what if's' of our life.

Here is what I like about writing/publishing stories

1-If any of you like what I read, for what ever reason, please say a kind word. That will help me immensely to become a better writer.

2- If you don't like my work, just pass it by and don't send reviews that make you look like an English Teacher grading a school paper.

3- I'm not your student, you're not my teacher/professor of either the English language nor of Literature.

4- If you have time, offer to be a BETA.

5- If you leave reviews, leave you name, email address, and a sample of your work that I can look at that's posted here on this site.

6-Never give or leave an anonymous review. When you read my work you know who I am, but I don't know who you are. Lets be equal on this site and know each other.

7- We who post our stories here are trying our best to write and improve ourselves, so please, be kind to me, and no flames.

8- I have trouble with spelling, though I use spell check. How many of the words in the Harry Potter lexicon would make it through spell check?

9- Plots are what I make them, it's my story, so, enjoy it.
