I never managed to get a good grasp on Hermione's plans, but it was fascinating to see she evolution throughout the story. The Order never did embrace it's dark heroes very well so I'm not surprised by their reaction to Hermione. I'm glad she was able to make her own happy ending despite all the obstacles she had to overcome. Also pleased to see Snape find a love of his own. There's a man that definitely deserves some happiness. Thank you for sharing this with us! |

I love Dark Hermione stories, but I /really/ love the way she toed the line between letting the darkness take her over, and fighting against it. The seduction she felt was clear, and even right up until the end, I wasn't sure whether she was going to do the right thing or not. I adored the unpredictability! I also liked the your concept of the Veil and beyond it. I've never seen anything like that done before! While I do have a lot of questions after finishing, I find that I actually love the ambiguous ending. Anything could happen after this point, and the open-endedness allows for a sense that story continues on beyond our viewing. This was just such a great story all around! xoxo |
