Oh hey! I'm Infrared-Ultraviolet, and the first thing you need to know about me is that FANFICTION IS BAE. It's a HUGE priority in my life even though I'm a science major in college and it probably shouldn't be XD So rest assured that at any one time, there is SOME fanfiction I'm currently in the process of writing. I write mostly CGI ccrossover fanfics, especially centering around Jackunzel and Hiccanna (OTPS FOR LIFE!), but I will occasionally branch out into writing for my ships in other fandoms.

I'm also currently writing a novel. When I'm done with the first draft, I will put a blurb up here and hopefully find some test readers! It's about half done at this point, and I'm hoping to finish over the summer.

UPDATE: Ya girl GRADUATED! I'm heading out into the world now to take adulthood head-on, and even though I'm kiiiiinda terrified, I'm going into a career that I'm passionate about and that I hope I'll love, and I am VERY relieved to be out of school. Honestly being basically "on the clock" 24/7 and never really being able to take a break during the college quarter without feeling this underlying guilt about not studying was terrible for my anxiety, and as someone who needs a consistent routine to stay reasonably sane, a constantly-changing class schedule every 3 months and a wildly-varying workload from one week to the next was pretty awful. Maybe I'm crazy, but a relatively consistent 9 to 5 where I still have some time I can set aside on weekends and evenings to write sounds like a pretty amazing deal. So I'm very hopeful, and I hope to be back on here regularly soon!
(If you're getting a strong impulse to PM me saying HAHA YOU NAIVE FOOL, ADULTHOOD IS TERRIBLE AND THE BEST YEARS OF YOUR LIFE ARE OVER!!! LIFE ONLY GETS WORSE, HAVE FUN!!! then can you maybe not. I'm already depressed enough without people telling me I basically have nothing to look forward to for the rest of my life XD Yeahhhh, it happens more often than you think :/)

If I go on what appears to be a long, unexplained hiatus, I can assure you I am either a) completely swamped with work/personal life stuff and don't really have time for writing or b) working on a longer, multi-part fanfiction for you guys! I hate making people wait indefinitely between updates (been there myself too often!), so whenever I have a multi-part fanfiction I wait until I'm finished with the entire thing before I start submitting it. That way, I can do so on a definite schedule.

Speaking of which, I'm in the process of writing a multi-chapter Hiccanna fanfic! End product is planned to be 20 chapters. Might put up a blurb of it on here if I feel so inclined. It's not related to Dragon-Riding in Arendelle directly, but they DO have a similar dynamic as they do there, so hopefully you guys will like it! It's a bit...out there, but I have high hopes for this thing XD Might not get finished until I graduate college, but GOD DAMMIT, THIS THING IS GONNA GET FINISHED. I love it too much to stop! Stay tuned until 2019, since that's when realistically I will start posting it ;

My policy on reviewing: Thought I'd throw this out there to avoid any potential hard feelings. Typically speaking I will ONLY leave reviews on an ongoing multi-part fanfiction if it updates regularly and/or I am pretty much certain that the author is going to eventually make it all the way to the end and finish it. The reason I do this is to avoid emotionally investing in a good story and taking the time and effort to leave a thoughtful review when the story's just going to end up being abandoned! And I think we all know that happens a lot more on this site than perhaps any of us would like to admit XD
SO if I favorite your story but am not leaving any reviews, it means that it has definitely captured my interest via skimming, but I am waiting until I'm absolutely certain you're going to finish it before I read it in full and review it. I know this could be counterproductive for me since people often say that getting reviews are what motivate them to update, BUT look at it this way...all the more motivation to complete your fanfic because unless I really hate the ending or something, you'll be getting a whole SLEW of reviews from me! XD And I do also review every single chapter individually, so you have that to look forward to :P
Anyways yeah, so if I favorite your story and am not leaving any reviews, that's why. At least, this is typically the case for Jackunzel fanfictions. With Hiccanna the pairing is so underloved and I am so desperate for fanfic of them that I will typically review ANY incoming Hiccanna fanfiction, completed or not XD Also I tend to review fanfics on a most-in-need-of-reviews basis, so if your fanfic has a shitton of reviews already I'm probably gonna prioritize reviewing it below reviewing one that needs more love! (the main reason I haven't reviewed a lot of the Zootopia fanfics in my favorites--but I do hope I'll get around to reviewing those eventually!)
TLDR; I love reviewing and I will happily review your fanfic, but only if I am like 100% certain it will actually be completed! Don't be hurt if I favorite without reviewing, because I am planning on getting around to it eventually, I promise (provided you finish)!
