Reviews for Ten Seconds
Guest chapter 13 . 10/4/2019
You know, I just reread this and I had a flash of inspiration for what could be a sequel. Imagine if the predators, tired of being collared, formed their own city/colony strictly for predators where there were no collars, and majority of predators, enticed by the idea, head to live there. Now Nick, despite the happiness he carves out for himself in this dismal reality, finds the idea of moving to a predator utopia enticing. True freedom and all that. However, Judy doesn't, because he would have to leave her. Drama ensues, both political and romantic. I dunno, just a random idea I felt was good enough to be shared.

CrazyCatGirl chapter 3 . 2/19/2018
I am absolutely LOVING this story! Personally I think Nick and Judy are very much in-character as their younger selves here, and so adorable too! Their games are so much fun to read, and full of happy nostalgia. Also it was great seeing that the police officers weren't all the prejudiced or uncaring; the kind zebra is very realistically written, I think. And of course it was SOOOO satisfying to see little-Judy come to Nick's rescue, get the muzzle off, and cheer him up.
Plus the details- like how the squirrels used to live in a treehouse, and the differences in the neighborhoods, and the zebra officer's own obstacle (people saying she couldn't be a cop) and success- make the story feel more real. The writing is so good, very interesting to read, and doesn't seem rushed at all. Bravo!
