![]() Author has written 21 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, Harry Potter, Sailor Moon, Prince of Tennis, Shokugeki no Soma/食戟のソーマ, and Gundam Seed. Hi! I'm Lacus. Thanks to all for visiting my profile and for reading my stories. :) I love you all. I've been on a bit of a hiatus for a while as many of you have noticed. I'm sorry about this, I've been going through terrible things in life. I will get back to writing when I can. About writing my fanfiction: I am a total romantic and therefore I write romance stories. Beyond the romance genre though, I'm all over the place. I do AU and AR, I do sci-fi, adventure, comedy, drama, etc. My fic writing started with Rurouni Kenshin fanfics for Kenshin and Kaoru, and I was a hot writing mess back then. My writing was pretty bad, but somehow I've kept at it. It wasn't until I first started writing for The Prince of Tennis in 2007 that I really got into writing a lot. I'm really into writing RyoSaku PoT fanfics at present, but it's possible I'll explore into other fandoms at some point in the future. I hope to continue to challenge myself with fresh ideas and to continue to improve my writing. I do plan to finish all my WIP fanfics; I don't abandon anything, even if I take long breaks between when I work on things. :) As for my stories archived here...I would like to believe that over the years that I've improved a lot as a writer, but I honestly think I still have a lot to work on when it comes to writing. What I really love is hearing from my readers and being involved in fandom. On that note, I just do this for fun, and for my fellow fans as a sort of guilty pleasure... *grins* If you've read an older story of mine please still leave a review. When all is said and done, it's those random reviews of stuff I get that inspire me to get into writing something new or get back to work on something in progress in between the times I'm actually posting things I've written here. I read ALL of my reviews on ALL of my stories, no matter HOW long ago I posted up the story. I frequently go through my reviews and read them over again whenever I want to feel all WAFFy over fandom stuff or when I'm looking for inspiration to write. I really love and appreciate all of you that have supported me over the years, and continue to support me. It makes participating in these fandoms a really fun thing for me so thank you for sending happiness my way, whenever that happens to be. I will try to respond through the PM system to all my reviews on older stories since I can't insert them in the next chapter update as I usually do. xoxo Lacus My Fics Status as of 3/1/2019 Sailor Moon: Standing on My Own - WIP. I wrote what I have done of this story quite a long time ago I think, though I don't have the date anymore. It was my first Sailor Moon fanfic. It's not completed yet, but now that is down, I'm putting it up here. Life is But a Dream... - Complete. This fic is a challenge response for one of the monthly challenges on . I do not plan to write a sequel, etc. It's a done work. I do hope that you enjoy/ed reading it though. Far, Far Away: 50 Fairy Tale Fantasies - My responses to the fairy tales drabbles challenge. I didn't finish in the time period, but I'm hoping to finish the themes list someday anyways. Romantic Rendezvousing: 25 Romantic Themes - My responses to the romance themes drabbles challenge. I didn't finish this one in the time period either, but I'd also like to finish all the themes someday. Rurouni Kenshin: How the Past can Change - WIP. KnK(B) I still have a ways to go with this, even though it's wrapping up, I need to tie up all my lose ends on this crazy long OMG you can even see the changes in my writing style over the last 10 years fanfic. I still have every intention of finishing this story and I'm really sorry that I've slacked off on it for so many years. *hugs to all of you that have stuck with me on this fic* This has remained by far my most popular story, which still baffles me, but I love that so many people love it. I really want to finish it. MUAH xoxo ILU guys! The Wonders of Cutting Vegetables - Complete. KnK. This is a response to a monthly challenge. It's very complete, (and silly) no plans to expand on or edit it ever. Always There For Me - WIP. KnK. It's really bad...don't read it. :P It's really complete, but I planned to write an epilogue for it a long time ago. Honestly, I'd like to delete the fic since it's embarrassingly horrible, (it was my first fanfic ever) so I have no idea if I ever will write that epilogue. After all of my other WIPs (especially HtPcC) are done for sure before I even think about touching it. (Though honestly once I touch it I'll probably just scrap the whole thing, so it's probably better left untouched.) The only reason I haven't deleted it is for nostalgia sake at this point because well, it's where I started. I can't even read it these days, but meh...back in the day when I wrote it, people liked it so I guess there's that. Harry Potter: Eight Days A Week - Complete. GinnyxDraco This is probably my only HP fic, so I hope you enjoy it if you read it. It's a comedy and I had some fun with it, but it's very done, done, done. I doubt I will ever revisit writing in this fandom. The Prince of Tennis: It Was Me - Complete. RyoSaku. This was my first PoT fic and when I posted it, I thought it would be my only PoT fanfic. (Oh, how wrong I was.) I wrote it on a whim because I couldn't let go of the idea from my head. It's very done, I doubt I will ever edit it or anything like that - not that it couldn't use some edits, but meh...I'm not really one to nitpick on old stuff, I learn, I move on, and this story despite it's flaws is actually on a TON of fave's lists which makes me really happy. (Though...it was recently dethroned from 3rd by fave counts by For Services Rendered coming in and taking 2nd.) I really enjoyed this first writing Ryoma and Sakuno experience very much and I hope anybody interested in them enjoys the story because this was my first inspiration for them and for many reasons I'm rather proud of this story. Way Back Into Love - Complete. RyoSaku. So I ended up writing more stuff for PoT fandom and this was my 2nd story. Hahahaha...I was so in love with RyoSaku when I wrote this fic and you know? I still am! I just LOVE their characters. ...hearts... They are my ultimate OTP I guess. :) I really liked writing this story; it was so very fun and it was my first real connection with all my fellow RyoSaku lovers. It is a comedy romance so I hope you have a good time reading it if you read it. Until recently, (2012) this was my most popular PoT fanfic (going by fave's lists) for many years, but now For Services Rendered has claimed the top spot in my PoT fic popularity in both faves and reviews counts. Never Forgotten - Complete. RyoSaku. (AR) This fanfic is very dear to my heart and special to me in more ways than one. The inspiration for it came from a personal experience I had as a teen and it was after writing this story out that I truly gained the closure I was looking for with my personal experience. (Though the story is QUITE fictional my personal experience was very different, just the inspiration for it.) I will probably make some edits to this one of these days, especially chapter 7 which I couldn't seem to be completely satisfied with no matter how many times I rewrote it. The Pirate and the Princess - Complete. RyoSaku. (AU) I wrote this for a RyoSaku fanfic/fanart exchange in the summer of 2008 for Dira and it was oh so much fun! I NEVER would have come up with a pirate PoT fanfic if it wasn't for Dira and the exchange, and it ended up being such a fun adventure! I did a lot of editing to this before posting it up here and hopefully it is improved from the original presented to Dira and the rest of the exchange group on LJ. I've been really overjoyed with how everybody has just embraced the idea of our PoT boys being pirates and all the pirate talk in this fic. ILU all thank you so much for having fun with me on this fanfic! The Graduation Caper - Complete. RyoSaku. I wrote this story in my head for by my account about 3 years before I finally typed it all out and shared it with you all. I'm so thrilled to finally have it done so I could share it with my fellow RyoSaku lovers because this fic is just all sorts of good times and ROFL. It's a super silly funny sexy romance and I hope everybody enjoys reading it as much as I did writing it. I'm actually really proud of this rather long one-shot. ;D For Services Rendered - Complete. RyoSaku. (AR) I finished posting this up Feb 2012. This story took a full year to write. I started writing it in Feb 2011 after I finished posting up The Pirate and the Princess and I hope you all enjoyed it very much. I had so much fun posting this up here and hearing everybody's thoughts on it, it still gives me untold giggles and happiness. XD This is now my most reviewed and most popular by fave counts of all my Prince of Tennis fanfics. It's also the 2nd most reviewed fanfic of all my fanfic, and my 2nd most popular fanfic of all my fanfic by favorite's lists. I do want to say though, for anybody that might read this that read the fic and got confused by the ending - Ryoma did NOT go to middle school in Japan - this is not only told at the beginning of the fanfic, but it's also mentioned by Nanjiro when he visits Ryoma in Melbourne - that didn't change. If you are interested in the "teaser" at the end, I recommend reading the sequel For Services Rendered Afterthoughts. For Services Rendered Afterthoughts - Forever Ongoing Drabbles Collection. RyoSaku (AR) I never thought I would even think up writing anything more for my story For Services Rendered, but after it had all been posted up and I'd been reading everybody's reviews from the epilogue, I got a muse going to do some "afterthoughts" type of drabbles - little snippet stories from within this alternate reality. It occurred to me that there's more that I could write about this story...about the past especially. [spoiler ahead if you haven't read For Services Rendered] The ending snippet of FSR is to show the missed opportunities when Ryoma and Sakuno had indeed seen each other or interacted momentarily when Ryoma had visited Japan in the time between when they were 5 when he moved to the USA and before they reunited at 22. These "afterthoughts" drabbles elaborate on that concept. I've also added in some fluffy pieces of when they were really young, scenes from within the main story as "extras" type of scenes, and future scenes of life after FSR for our dear couple. These drabbles are just lots of fluffy fun, and I'm always open to taking requests for them if you have something from FSR you want, please LMK! Generally speaking, I work on writing out these little drabbles when I'm not working on another massive chaptered fanfic story, or when I get an inspiration for one, which in most cases will probably be ignited by a random review of the main story For Services Rendered since those tend to make me go read the story again and then I get ideas. Meh. Coming Home - Complete. RyoSaku. I finished posting this end of July 2012.The rough draft was completed as of 12/4/11. You all were so supportive of this so different for me fanfic, and I'm so touched! It was really something to see such emotional reactions from my readers on this, something that I haven't really seen before, so thank you for sharing with me your honest thoughts all you that have left reviews and for those that may leave them in the future. So a little background on this is that I started working on writing this after I started posting up For Services Rendered - what can I say? When the muses are at it, they're really at it. It's a little darker story, especially for me since I usually gravitate towards comedy/romance, not so much drama or angst, but it's not super dark or anything - it's just dark for me. I purposely challenged myself as a writer to write something with a bad circumstance and then fix it, instead of my usual lighthearted type of story plot. In some ways, this was the hardest thing for me to write, and I almost stopped updating it at one point and then made some changes to fix it. So all in all, it really was an experience for me to write and publish this fic since the circumstances and plot were about messed up things happening. Despite that, it has a happy ending, and by the way...the rating is not for lemon stuff (I don't write those), it's with regard to the subject matter. It's Complicated - Complete. RyoSaku. Rough draft complete as of 10/11/12. I finished posting this end of September 2013. So I started writing this story in Feb of 2012 right around the time when I finished the final edits and postings of For Services Rendered. (Incidentally, I wrote Coming Home in it's entirety while I was posting up FSR.) This story is the first PoT fic I've written out that's more along the concepts I explored in my first PoT fanfic It Was Me. It's a RyoSaku romance with no AR, no AU, just flat out growing up in love and romance over time fanfic. It's in Sakuno's POV like It Was Me as well, which has been a challenge for me because I think I have an easier time getting into Ryoma's head. This fic is pretty much lot of messed up adolescent feelings / experiences / misunderstandings type of story. Ryoma is in top mischievous form and Sakuno is a mess of internal emotions. For a little clarification, as previously mentioned the story is told entirely from Sakuno's POV, but most of the fanfic is actually her recap of the last 3 years of her life. So she's giving us her POV with her personal thoughts on what happened in the past as she tells us about the past. Finally, we arrive in the present where Ryoma and her are in their first year of high school, but the story begins pretty much with the start of their second year in middle school and proceeds from there. This fanfic was challenging to write in only Sakuno's POV for such a long story, so I hope you all think it turned out okay. :) Thank you all so much for the love and support on this story, before it was even half way through it had already moved into my 3rd most reviewed fanfic of all my fanfic, and 2nd most reviewed of all my PoT fanfics. It's now my most reviewed PoT fanfic of all of my PoT fanfics, which I find really amazing. Thank you all so so so so so much for all the love. It's been such a pleasure sharing this fic with you! Decisions - Complete. RyoSaku. Rough draft complete as of 3/4/13. Finished posting this August 22, 2017. The day I finished the rough draft of It's Complicated, I started writing this new fanfic. I'd had the brainstorm for almost a year, but I hadn't touched it much because I needed to focus on writing It's Complicated first. Once IC's rough draft was done, and it was in edits/posting status I've was able to write a new fic, and so I did. I finally named the story "Decisions" after writing out a full 7 chapters, but I'm happy with the title. As it stands in the completed rough draft version there are 23 chapters total. I don't know if it will expand with edits or not, or if I'll end up posting a sequel or what have you depending on how it's received here by my fellow fans. The genres are romance/friendship/what if. What I can tell you as far as teasers/spoilers is that it's set when RyoSaku are a couple of weeks away from turning 18 in their final year of high school, and that it's my wonked out spin/take on how a canonverse RyoSaku "arranged marriage" plot vice would play out. Don't let the "arranged marriage" plot vice term throw you though, I'm using the term very loosely...this fic doesn't have them getting married and working things out from there, it's a very different spin on the idea. Untitled - Rough draft began 3/13/13. RyoSaku. About a week after I completed the rough draft of Decisions, I started out writing a new plot. I've already finished writing three chapters and I'm working on chapter four. I have no idea yet on what I'm going to title it, but I have the main events of the plot jotted down and some fun and witty things planned for our dear couple. What I can share for now is it's romance for the main genre, not sure on the secondary one. It starts out during the summer of RyoSaku's first year of high school when they're 15, and then jumps three years into the future after Sakuno graduates from high school in the spring after they're both 18. The Friend Zone - Complete. RyoSaku. Rough draft began 4/18/13. Rough draft complete 7/5/2013. I finished posting this 5/13/2016. My fanfic gift for the RyoSaku Express Fandom Exchange hosted by neko11lover in 2013. I hope you all enjoy the edited version of this fanfic since my rough draft is really messy, so I'm doing some heavy edits and making the final draft as I post it up here. Title is a Secret - Can't give away the title because it could possibly spoil It's Complicated. :P RyoSaku. Rough draft began 5/1/13. This is the companion piece to It's Complicated. Same story, told from Ryoma's POV. It will have a lot of different scenes to keep things interesting, but all the important moments will be revisited from a completely different perspective. I'm currently working on chapter 2 of this, I'm not sure if the length will be the same as IC, longer than, or shorter than. I guess we'll see as I write it out. A Series of Unfortunate Events - Rough draft started 5/15/2016. RyoSaku romcom. c: I think the title says quite a lot. This will be a funny one-shot when it's completed. Untitled[s] - I currently have 15 more brainstorms for RyoSaku fanfics. Some of them are normal, some are ARs, at least one is an AU. I've typed out a plot basis for all them, but I won't start on any of them until I'm done with the three WIPs I'm already busy slaving away on. As for posting status, right now I'm editing/posting of Decisions and The Friend Zone. At any given time I may get inspired for some more For Services Rendered Afterthoughts drabbles and post those up as well. Shokugeki no Soma: Snow Day - Chapter 1 was written, completed, edited and posted up 12/24/15. Sorina. This started out as a fun little one-shot I wrote for my honey. I love this anime SO MUCH. I was completely hooked on it and watched it three times in a row back to back. I don't usually watch an anime more than once. As for writing fanfics for this anime, I never planned it. Not one bit. I'm pretty much a die-hard writer for RyoSaku from PoT these days. Well, anyway my honey was saying to me that he wanted to read some Soma/Erina fanfics, but there weren't any new ones posted up. So I said I'll write you one. I wrote it while he read it. Then we edited it a bit and posted it up. The readers were so excited that I decided to keep writing, so now it's morphed into an ongoing chapter fic. I'm not planning on making it very long, but I will finish it up. Gundam SEED: 21 Century Ninja - Rough Draft began 2/1/2016, started posting 4/26/2016. KiraLacus. This is another random WiP I've been writing in my crazed writing cave at the request of my darling. I've always loved Kira and Lacus and never thought I would write a fic about them, but well I guess I am. XD I have no idea how this fandom is doing since it's been a long time since I watched this anime, but I really hope all you Kira x Lacus fans enjoy reading this. c: About reading fanfiction: It all started for me with Usagi x Mamoru stories a long time ago in a land far, far away. I've progressed since then into reading fanfiction for a lot of other things I'm into, so don't be surprised if I pop up all over the place on this website. Stuff I like to read: Pairings I love in no particular order: I started up a C2 community for quality het romance stories in any/all fandoms, and if you're a romance fan I hope you join! I could use more staff members too, so please hit me up if you're interested in staffing. |
