I've been around for a long time, so I guess I'll write a bit about myself.

Let's see...I am Taiwanese, but have lived and travelled to about 20 countries. My favourite country for travelling is Japan--I spent six weeks in Kyoto studying Japanese, and it was awesome.

My username is rooted from Enid Blyton's Faraway Tree series and a manga called From Far Away. Obviously, I love the fantasy genre.

I've been a bibliophile for as long as I can remember. My all-time favourites are Jin Yong's martial arts novels (Seriously! Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon is NOTHING compared to his books), anything by L. M. Montgomery (Actually, I like Emily much better than Anne), anything by Oscar Wilde (Love him! Pity he's gay. And dead.), Harry Potter series (who doesn't?), etc. Basically, anything that strikes my fancy.

And of course, manga. Currently I'm obssessed with 20th Century Boys, but I also enjoy Naruto, Fruits Basket, Rurouni Kenshin, Lovely Complex, Detective Conan, One Piece, His and Her Circumstances, Hikaru No Go, NANA, Keroro Gunso...I love Prince of Tennis, obviously, but recently the manga series has gone a little--extreme?
