Author has written 4 stories for Doctor Who, and Supernatural. Sirius, as in Sirius Black* Enigma, as in mysterious personality* Account made 2-20-14, but I didn't start writing until mid-2015. ABOUT ME* I love chocolate chip cookie dough, the color green, and pancakes. My husband, mother, and friends are the absolute best. I live with my husband and our two adorable kitties. I love my job. Since I switched from a high-stress job that I love to a low-stress job that I love, it's been even better and I have a lot more time and energy for writing. I'm female. I love Doctor Who, Supernatural, Harry Potter, Trueblood, Torchwood, etc. Huge geek at heart. If you have poor grammar, run-on sentences, or bad spelling, I'm sorry, but I can't read more than a couple of sentences without a headache. SUPERNATURAL* Destiel is ok. I wasn't big on it at first but it slowly grew on me. I can read Destiel if it's a slow burn and believable. My OTP is Megstiel - seriously, someone please write more Megstiel. Also Jo/Dean, and probably Sam/Eileen. Cas is my man, and then probably Dean. Sorry, J-Pad. I have never seen conventions as funny as the SPN ones. They have become my new favorite thing to watch on Youtube. Misha is basically my Overlord. GISH!!!! IF YOU DON'T DO IT, YOU SHOULD!!!! DOCTOR WHO* While I don't have a strong hate for Moffatt, Russell T. Davies is the absolute best. Christopher Eccleston was my first doctor. I saw David Tennant in Harry Potter, which then got me into Doctor Who. David Tennant. Sorry, but even DT could not get me to watch Hamlet. (I did watch his other Shakespeare stuff, though.) Speaking of David's other stuff, Blackpool completely blew my mind. I met DT last March at the North Carolina Wizard-Con with my best friend. It was awesome-sauce. Love the 11th Doctor/River Song love story. My man was the one to get me hooked on Doctor Who, but now I've seen and read more of it than he has. It's so cute when he tries to out-Whovian me. Yes, I DO know who Tom Baker is. I am NOT one of THOSE girls. I ship 9/Rose, 10/Rose, and 11/River. I'm very strong on at least semi-canon-compliance in fan-fiction that I read. If things are added to the canon, fine, but if it's not at least semi canon-compliant, I won't read it. Just call it personal preference. HARRY POTTER* I grew up with Harry Potter, and (sorry Doctor Who and Supernatural), HP will always be my favorite fandom. I've read each of the books too many times to count. I own all the audio-books. It is literally impossible to out-Potter-head me. And if it is possible, it's never happened. My husband has a personality like Remus Lupin and looks like David Tennant (not even joking - this has been said by multiple people). I am really not down with the whole Harry/Hermione shipping. I know JKR said that Ron/Hermione wasn't realistic... but as much as I LOVE JKR, I just consider this to be the writer not being canon-compliant. I am also really not "down" with the following shippings: Malfoy/Harry, Ron/Harry, Ginny/Hermione, Snape/Hermione, and don't even get me STARTED on Remus/Sirius. It's not that I don't like gay pairings, in fact I would totally read Dumbledore/Grindelwald. CANON COMPLIANCE. I ship Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Lily/James, Remus/Tonks, Dumbledore/Grindelwald, and literally anything that is well-written and in the Marauders era just because it's awesome. |
