Guest chapter 34 . 8/16 So, i LOVED rogue one, And I am still very happy with the ending - I romanticize the heroism behind sacrificing ones self for a cause larger than them, not actually ever knowing if it worked. And the way they died together on the beach gets me in the feels, every time. Having said that, I looooooved this story; it was a little over the top in the last quarter (Cassian calling her honey, the dramatic declarations of love and adoration constantly happening, etc.) The writing itself is excellent, I appreciate that they built a relationship and trust over a long period of time, versus a too quick approach. Overall, I am really happy with this story; I love the original ending, but that fantasy that they could have been together is nice to read played out. It really was very good, my only complaint would be the overstating their affections at every turn. But it really could just be me that feels that way! GREAT STORY |
Guest chapter 24 . 7/18 I’ve read this story probably 6 times. It’s one of my all time favorites! The warm fuzzy happy ending they deserve. I have a question though. At the end of this chapter, it says that there’s something he has to tell her first. I don’t see where we learn what that is. I wish you’d write more rebelcaptain! |
YoursTrulyPyress chapter 35 . 5/9 Loved this. It was an ultimate slow burn which made sense for the characters. You captured the real emotional trauma they would have had to deal with. Thank you for writing it! |
Royan Granger-Nott chapter 35 . 3/4 Thank you for this story. I’ve read it from front to back over the last couple of days while I’m going through a bereavement and want to thank you for writing such a beautiful story with such a happy ending. |
AraelDranoth chapter 5 . 1/20 A great chapter. A few minor mistakes but overall solid writing. You should be proud of what you've done so far. |
AraelDranoth chapter 2 . 1/20 This was well written for the most part and an interesting dive into Cassian's mind. |
AraelDranoth chapter 1 . 1/20 Hmmmm... I like it! Could this be my first Rogue One fanfic that I can actually enjoy? Only time will tell. |
Guest chapter 14 . 7/7/2019 Moniecat here rereading this fabulous story! I think this is the sixth-seventh time I’ve read it and it will always be one of my favs! |
Pint-sized She-Bear chapter 17 . 5/18/2019 Such a wonderful story, worth every reread for me. |
engineerwenlock chapter 3 . 4/4/2019 I'm re-reading and it's the literary equivalent of catching up with an old friend. I love this story. |
FangirlBookworm21 chapter 35 . 9/23/2018 This honestly just made me so happy thanks |
zesinidia chapter 1 . 7/22/2018 Hmm... Right so I was in a similar but situation realising somewhere around midway through where this was heading, however I still got attached and cried for characters that I had known would be dying. I have not been angry at the ending, however the last time I watched (I have lost count of how many times I have watched it) I was curious about if anyone thought of a different ending. My compliments so far |
Sorcie chapter 23 . 7/13/2018 This was my favorite chapter so far! I loved how Cassian just had to kiss Jyn to get her to listen and it worked. But that’s not the only reason I loved it. I can’t put it into words and that’s saying something coming from a fellow writer! Also I wanted to say that I agree with you in your portrayal of Cassian being soft and sensitive. I saw him the same way you did. Bravo and well done! Thank you for your suicide awareness. I’m a sufferer of depression, support of friends and family is very valuable to those of us who suffer from suicidal thoughts. It’s not a character flaw, the struggle is real! Thank you! |
Sorcie chapter 12 . 7/11/2018 I didnt think chapter 11 was boring! I love details! |
Sorcie chapter 7 . 7/11/2018 I...love...this...story... |
