![]() Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. It has accrued to me that a profile to let people know who I am might be nice. My screen alias is F.H.Groves. And I'm a Dual Business and Psychology Major in an undisclosed American university. I have been reading fanfiction since I was a preteen and missed writing so I picked up with one of my stories where I left off in my Junior year of high school. A Slytherin's Son is my main focus right now. I prefer to read slash because I can't stand the females of the Harry Potter world, Ginny in particular. I never liked her, NEVER! even when I was a little kid reading the books for the first time I said to my mother, "I think Ginny is stupid!" oh well. I'm recently twenty, have brown hair and blue eyes, I'm over weight but have and hourglass figure so it really isn't too bad. I'm tall about 5'11'' but think I'm short because everyone in my family is over 6'. I play in several bands and sing in several different groups. I draw and of course write. I don't really have anything too extreme about my personality. I'm just your standard upper middle class outcast that has too many issues. in other words my friends call me EMO! but I'm more of a hippy then anything else. I'm oddly enough one of the few people in my circle of friends that is straight, which often leads to people questioning my sexuality. It makes me laugh because I really would like to have a reason to give my parents that would explain why i am the way I am. they just have to be content with the fact that their kid is a failure and that she is just odd. LOL. I love being me. The best part about being a failure from a really successful family is that you turn out to be normal like everyone else. you also end up with a twisted view of what success really is. I love the world and hope that the world loves me. I'm not a nerd I'm normal. Think about it how many people read FanFiction? Obviously a ton, because look how large some of these fandoms are. To be "normal" is to be weird! Well that's me or about as much of me as anyone knows about. Several people wonder why it is exactly what are my motives for my not so standard characterizations so I guess I will take this time here to explain. I hate stories where for some inexplicable reason Harry turns out like Lord Voldemort. Totally and completely Slytherin without any real reasons. I think that eleven year olds don't portray the personality traits of the houses until much later in their school careers. Evelen year olds are really just children and not many of them are any extreme. It is during early adolescence that we become the people that we are. We don't even start to formulate dreams and plans for our lives until we are around the age of thirteen unless something major happened in our childhoods and even then the dreams are simple ones like, "I want to be rich one day so I can help my family," or something equally as vague. SS is meant to be a differnt take on the same old tale. It is a coming of age saga about the Son of Lord Voldemort. |
