Separated, mother of four, I have written a few stories, but I'm mostly a reader. My fandoms are Harry Potter and Twilight.

Fandoms are a strange and messy place, but they can be wonderful too. Two of my longest and dearest friendships were born out the HP Fandom. I am saddened that some really terrific fan-writers have chosen to delete their accounts. The trend in the Twilight fandom of pull to publish...well it sucks but if anyone can make a dollar or two out of doing something they love and have the talent for, I'm all for it.

I very rarely review as I mostly read completed fic that can be several years old. 10 plus years in the HP fandom has taught me to rarely trust a fan-writer to finish a WIP. I am grateful and flattered to all you fan-readers who dig deep in the archives, read and then add my stories to your favourites. It is the highest of compliments. Thank you!!!

Some observations: "popping the p" six out of ten Twilight fics will have this reference. Surely the talented can think of something more creative. For some unknown reason I despise high heeled shoes referred to as "death traps." It is hardly an accurate description and I'm quite certain that deaths directly related to the wearing of said heels or used as a weapon are at a very low percentage of the general population. In 2013 I celebrated my 10th year in the HP fandom. I spent a good part of the summer re-reading old fic, I forgot about ... scent uniquely his/hers. Good gravy was that over used.

Lastly, but never leastly...Harry is NOT a half-blood both his parents are magical. Snape and Voldemort ARE half-bloods their respective mothers are magical and their respective fathers are muggle.
