But, in all honesty, thus was truly, truly beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world. I think this is exactly what I needed. I lost my last and closest grandparent recently, and I had never heard of STUGs before, but I thank you for bringing it to my attention. My mum struggles with this now (it was her mum that died) and I think this has given me some insight into how to help, at least a little bit.

You were the one who introduced me to the idea of STUGs as part of a lifelong process in this story and Snape's Oceans (which, in a very weird coincidence, you finished the day before my mother died), and that has helped me deal with her loss long term more than any other thing I’ve read.

I read this story again, and again I'm crying. As you said in the last A/N, this is George's love story with life. With its pains and it's joy, and with its unique way to make us live again despite everything. No matter how deep is our sorrow, life moves on and we have to allow ourselves to move on, too. Can't begin to say how thankful I am for this little great story. Probably one of my favourites of all fandoms. Thank you.
