Author has written 5 stories for Inuyasha. I've done my best to make my profile enjoyable and somewhat informative about myself/the stories you've presumably read, so welcome, and without further ado... 20152903 Quick Update: Risen in Patria – Updated. I finally finished this during my spring break, so go give it a read! Craigslist – Totally lied to you guys about this being the next update. I'm still like 60 pages in...and struggling with the structure. I keep adding stuff on and moving stuff around and rewriting, and I'm still not yet satisfied with my Frankenstein. I've probably read and reread it so many times I'm not even sure what I need to take out or sprinkle in. Sorry, y'all. ALWH, Home, and School Bonding – I have a decent chunk of each completed, but I haven't had the time or inspiration to work on them extensively for a while (and I don't anticipate that will change until summer break rolls around), but as always, check my profile for any news on progress. On the note of School Bonding, keep in mind I may be deciding to exclusively post on IK-Eternal/Eternal Destiny. If you still want to read it, ED registration is free and the people there are generally awesome and interesting writers/readers. Note: I XPost on and under the same username Rochoa. So yeah, that's me. About Me Honestly, I feel weird writing this part, because I have no idea what people would want to know about me, so I'm just going to use this as a fun, therapeutic 'dump' for both the pertinent and completely irrelevant aspects of myself that I don't mind people knowing. I'm an avid fanfiction reader and have been since 2005, when I was first introduced to the world of Inuyasha. Since then, I have come to like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra and Game of Thrones fanfiction as well. I tried my hand at writing many, many years ago, under a different penname, but they were poorly planned, terribly written, and just overall bad. I took a six year hiatus from writing and finally decided to give it another shot...so here I am again. My appetite for smut and sex is insatiable, but I do love romance, fluff and adventure as much as anyone else. I'm also a sucker for happy endings. I'm currently a college student studying engineering. I love dogs, custard, my cell phone, the internet, tea, perfume, egalitarianism, and my hair. I am a staunch believer that each and every one of us is unique, just like everyone else. I'm also a little bit pure evil. I can be pretty insecure about a number of things, and I'm a pretty preemptively defensive person (but don't even bother telling me that. I don't care what you think!). When I hit a writer's block, I like to work on my profile and think of more miscellaneous things about myself you probably don't care to read. If you had seen my profile when I first started writing, you might have an idea of how frequently I get writer's block. Age: College-aged From: The land of the free and the home of the brave Favorite food: Asian food Favorite star: The Sun! Favorite temperature: 70 degrees F Favorite video games: Skyrim, Civilization V and IV, Minecraft, Dota 2, Sims 3, Warcraft III Favorite TV shows: Inuyasha, A:TLA, Legend of Korra, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, Numb3rs, Parks and Recreation, Better Off Ted and Doctor Who!...I make time to watch TV. Favorite Disney character: Mulan. 94% of teenagers like to put stupid and inaccurate statistics in their profile. If you're part of that 94%, copy and paste this into your profile. (Just kidding. Don't do that. Because it's stupid.) About My Stories and Writing I write OOC and AU fics. I find even the idea of writing characters only in canon universes and with the perfectly in-character personalities mind-numbingly boring. I generally don't completely change the character I'm working with (though, no promises for PWP stories), instead just augmenting certain aspects of a character and getting rid of others. My characterizations may not please you, and if that is the case, I'm going to have to prescribe the “Stop Reading This and Find Else Something You Do Like” pill. Also, I don't know much about Japan and I feel no large inclination to change that as of now. Instead, I portray Japan as I see fit, or I will create my own worlds with mismatched cultures and histories. There will be offensive content. Well, actually this depends on how easily you are offended. If you're like me and can count the number of times you've felt personally offended in your life on five fingers or less, then there isn't much to worry about. However, if not, know that I have no problem criticizing and making fun of just about anything and that the subject matter in some of my stories can be disturbing, difficult to read, crude, etc. For example, I know very little about the nuances of different cultural beliefs and religious superstitions and I'm not inclined to learn more about them, so if I get something wrong in my stories (e.g. maybe the “kami” in eastern religions don't behave the way I describe them), don't be offended. If it's porn, don't feel torn. This is both not and directly related to the last little blurb. The part that is unrelated is just me saying that I will pretty much include explicit sexual content in every story that I can. I basically come up with story ideas by thinking up as many different ways to get two (or more!) characters to have sex as possible. The part that is directly related to the last paragraph: sometimes these scenarios will feature something that offends someone out there, and if this is you, please do not bother telling me. I assure you I am not hurting anyone in the creation of these scenes (e.g. I did not conduct any real life research on how to rape someone when I write a rape scene). I can take my sweet time between updates. I try to make up for that by writing decently long chapters, but losiento anyway :/. You also might notice I have quite a few unfinished stories. Yeah. Sorry. I have a million and two plot bunnies and simply not enough hours in the day to work on them all consistently. And since I'm not getting any moolah from this, I don't feel a huge obligation to make sure everything is updated consistently and to make any promises. That being said, at the moment, I do intend on finishing all my stories, even if it takes me until my dying breath. this, however, could change...but I do try and keep my profile updated every couple months (or every time I post a new chapter) with news of how the stories are coming. There will be spelling, grammatical, whateverical errors. Believe it or not, I'm actually quite good when it comes to grammar and spelling (that's what years and years of Latin and some hardcore SAT writing and verbal prep back in the day will do to you :/). However, because I hate editing and proofreading (that's something I didn't take from said classes), expect to see mistakes. A decent number of them are intentional (my English teacher did always say that we only learned grammar rules so we could learn how to effectively break them!) or “I don't care if this is wrong” errors. For example, you might notice a few sentence fragments, mismatched pronouns, misplaced commas, dangling prepositions and so on. If you really have a huge problem with this then do the following: 1. Remember that you're reading fanfiction. 2. Get checked by a doctor, because if you do number 1, and still can't get over it, you may have a problem. 3. Message me a list of detected typos and errors, and I will eventually change them (assuming they don't mess with intentional, stylistic choice) for you because I've got issues too...so I guess I can relate. Good 'Ol Miscellanies! Collection of Favorite Jokes: There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, those who don't, and those who don't expect a base three joke. A physicist, a mathematician and an engineer were each asked to establish the volume of a red rubber ball. The physicist immersed the ball in a beaker full of water and measured the volume of the displaced fluid. The mathematician measured the diameter and calculated a triple integral. The engineer looked it up in his Red Rubber Ball Volume Table. What's red and bad for your teeth? A brick. How do you confuse a blonde? Paint yourself green and throw forks at her.
