The moment Angel and Spike stepped into the room, they knew it was enchanted, but it was too late... This is my take on what might happen if Spike lost his soul. Happens in Buffyverse after the end of Buffy Season 7, about mid-season of Angel season 5. Trying to make it as canon as possible.

Shortly after the events of "The Replacement", Buffy and Spike are accidentally caught up in a demon fertility ritual, leading to a very strange pregnancy. Compelled by the ritual to do whatever it takes to protect it, Buffy has to deal with an angry Riley and an equally angry Spike while trying to keep her baby safe.

Post-series, post Angel. After angering a demon who wants something from him that he can't give, Spike is left helpless and pretty nearly hopeless too. How can he expect rescue when everyone he knows has either died or thinks he's still dead himself?

Vince has an age crisis. Howard offers some words of comfort. He also makes paella.

She should have dusted him the moment he set foot in her town. But the look in his eyes... how could a soulless monster have eyes like that? She couldn't kill him until she knew. Set in an alternate Season 2 where Dru dusted in Prague and Spike came to town anyway.

Meanwhile River has always known the Doctor needs to have Companions, but when that need seems to turn dangerously pathological she fears that her parents may be prisoners not passengers and they might not even know it.

He knew who she would become: Doctor River Song, his wild, impetuous, gun-slinging archeologist. But the Doctor often wondered about who she had been... spoilers for series 6.
