Still one of my favorite stories! Mostly for your amazing portrayal of a mature and like-able Xander (I usually can't stand him, heh), but also for the story itself. Poor, poor Spike. But the h/c is so good! :D

I have enjoyed reading this story a lot...you really have the characters down and you do a great job writing what they are saying and making it read just like them!

And damnit, I told you not to use those words again! Gah, they are creepy.

Also, I freaking love Xander! Great conversation between him and Buffy. Like I said, you handle their maturity beautifully. Wonderful explanation of Buffy's thought process through the last couple seasons and it's nice to see Xander actually listen to her.

Ugh. This "Figg" guy...he makes me twitchy. So very very twitchy. He better not call Spike a "nice young man" the whole soddin' time cause I don't think I'll be able to take it.

And yay! Xander! Love the maturity you've given his and Buffy's friendship. Though, I'm a little...concerned what he'll do when he hears Spike's alive...

Aww! I like this history for Xander. Anyanka Construction...I'm torn between laughing and crying at that. And demon magnet powers for good. *snort* And "Brick Layer:1, Council of Wankers: 0". Oh my goodness. It's like having our boy back all over again! But, where's Willow? We can't have this adventure without Willow!

Interesting. A bit rough on Giles (though he does have that annoying habit of stupid covering up the truth). I loved how Andrew didn't tell her cause Spike asked him not to. Huh, let's see. I wouldn't exactly say Spike did those things for her with no strings attached... I mean he did want her to love him...but by and large he eventually did it because he was a good guy (even if he went in the round-about way of figuring it out). So yeah...is Giles ever going to be forgiven? Where's everyone else? What the hell were they thinking not sending in the Slayers?!
