Author has written 13 stories for Robin Hood, and Chronicles of Narnia. Hello, all! Thanks for visiting my humble corner of this site. With life being as busy at it is I haven't gotten the chance to update as much as I'd like, but I'm ever so grateful for any readers or reviews I might receive! I will also say that I make great effort to review every story that I read, and promise to respond to every review left for me. I have been a reader of fanfiction since junior high, when it all began thanks to a little Disney movie called "Newsies." Now, my major love is Narnia, and that seems to be where I've placed myself. I also am a huge fan of all things Robin Hood, from the old stories to the recent BBC series, so I've been known to wander in those archives as well. Anyway, enough rambling about me! On to the stories, with a little more explanation below, if you're curious for more than the summaries themselves. Many of these are from various challenges from the former NFFR and the Narnia Fic Exchange over on Livejournal. I especially encourage you to check out the NFE masterlists from this year and years past, as there is some truly wonderful fic archived there. Feel free to PM me for a link if you don't have one. Until Lambs Become Lions - (Chronicles of Narnia) - The story of the rise of Miraz, told through the eyes of Caspian's mother. Includes glimpses of her childhood, her courtship and marriage to Caspian IX, and world-building galore! In progress. What You Might Have Been - (Chronicles of Narnia) - Quiet one-shot about the knight who saved Cor, hopelessly adrift at sea. NFE fic. The Sentinel - (Chronicles of Narnia) - A peaceful little one-shot drabble for the Christmas Card exchange. Into Telmar - (Chronicles of Narnia) - A bit of head-canon involving pirates, native women, a cave, and Elephants. Lightly connected to "What the Elephants Forgot." The Rest of Our Days - (Chronicles of Narnia) - A little snapshot of my head canon for Narnia's earliest years. David is the second son of the first monarchs of a brand new world, but his older brother William isn't the only one who is destined to become a king. The Last Charade - (Chronicles of Narnia) My present to Caleon for the Secret Santa Exchange over at NFFR, and rather different than some of my other work. Edmund and Peter set off on a quest to recover the magic rings from Digory Kirke's childhood backyard. Complete. Even in Calormen - (Chronicles of Narnia) My very first Narnia Christmas fic! Lord Peridan has just been named Narnia's ambassador to Calormen, and his children worry that, having moved so far away, Father Christmas won't be able to find them. Complete. The World He Came Back To - (Chronicles of Narnia) The latest in my efforts to explain certain bits of Narnia's past. A Faun regains consciousness to find that he has created quite a stir among his fellow creatures, but no one seems to want to tell him why. What he discovers, however, is he has unknowingly affected the course of Narnian history. Complete. She Waits - (Chronicles of Narnia) - Originally intended to be a one-shot about the Star's Daughter, it has now transformed into a six-part series of little one-shots all surrounding the central theme of the various ways in which women in Caspian's life have been waiting for him. Complete. What the Elephants Forgot - (Chronicles of Narnia) - A bit of a jump from my other stories, this little one-shot attempts to explain why we see Elephants so prominently in The Magician's Nephew, but they and other Animals have disappeared from Narnia by the time the Pevensies show up. Complete. Queen of the Day - (Robin Hood) - One-shot detailing the single event that caused Will Scarlett to take to the Forest and join the Outlaws. Not based on any particular movie, series, or book, this was originally a chapter in another, longer fic about some original characters. I began to rather loathe that story, but liked the Will / Meg dynamic, and so I turned the chapter into a one-shot. Perhaps I'll one day go back and write an actual story based on these events. Perhaps I'll do a lot of things. Complete. More to come, hopefully, if I can ever settle down enough to force all the plot bunnies out of my head and into something coherent. Happy reading, please review, and have a wonderful day! |
