anonymousme chapter 1 . 12/5/2018
Wow. This was really good! much better than i expected. and the way Narnian things were woven in2 Susan's stories based on Narnia was awesome. Plus it was funny when that guy came 2 serenade 'Phyllis' and was promptly told that there was no Phyllis there. I wonder what would happen if Susan told their stories but switched out all the names, and if any1 would suspect... after all, Edmund did change drastically after 'the country'... anyway, nice work! :) :D
TheKingswoman chapter 1 . 4/11/2018
This is such a good story. A little bittersweet, but not nearly so melancholy as most Susan fics. Thank you for sharing.
InkWeaverabc chapter 1 . 11/25/2015
Your writing makes me cry. Why do you make Narnia so sad and far-away?
Misted chapter 1 . 1/7/2013
Lovely story!
lealila chapter 1 . 11/23/2012
Really well done. I like how you juxtaposed Lucy and Susan with how they tell thier stories. And your style reads like a fairytale, which is just awesome.

Nice job.

A Mistake chapter 1 . 11/16/2011
I don't know why I haven't reviewed this the first time I found it, so here I am trying to rectify that mistake.

The stories that Susan weaves are powerful indeed-and it is not because they are real that they are powerful, but because she knew precisely where the heart is, and could change everything else to disguise it but its Essence. It also gave another perspective to Susan's denial of Narnia. Only one who feels so much could tell stories that deep and with that much emotional involvement. It would seem that she decided not to think about Narnia anymore because it hurts too much that she couldn't bear it. I'm not sure why, but that was the impression I get. Thus, even it is painful to read what could be seen as her betrayal, this fic made me step that much closer to her pain. Lovely.
paper lotuses chapter 1 . 7/27/2011
This story does Susan some justice, it was a shame that she lost her way. It was nice that you started to show Susan's loss of faith in Aslan through her story telling. My favorite part is definitely the geeky boy singing to her and her conversation with Susan. Thank you for keeping them in character :)
The Duchess of Telmar chapter 1 . 1/28/2011
I loved it!
Avia Tantella Scott chapter 1 . 10/3/2010
This was absolutely gorgeous! I loved your characterization of Susan and Lucy, as well as how effortlessly you wove together the Pevensies' real history in Narnia with the embellishments that Susan created for the sake of her stories. I also love that your Lucy actually speaks about Narnia; I feel that too often authors treat Narnia as this huge secret that can never be told. I think the idea of the girls using storytelling as a way to let out the feelings that must be so painfully pent up inside them is much more realistic, beautiful, and sad.

Well done all around!
