Greetings weary traveller,

I am the bringer of good feelings, the harbinger of happy shivers, the...oh you get the picture. I am the warm Orange After Glow that keeps you in that high-as-a-kite happy place for days on end after something good has happened. I bet you are glad to have met me!

And if you believe that you will believe anything! Heh heh! In reality I am a 20-something woman trapped in the immature mind of a giggling schoolgirl. I am a sucker for an animated movie (they seem so much more real than live action ones after all) be it Japanese, American or home grown from the merry ole isle of England. Live action movies are so fake, you know the actors and actresses are doing just that, acting (or at least pretending to). In animations the characters are literally created for the roles they play. It is a pure romp into fantasy and I love it! At least, that is the way my mind works. I won't bore you with the gory details of a misguided youth thinking Pokemon was the ultimate form of entertainment.

Creative writing has always been an interest of mine, I made multiple attempts in you teens to write a story all of my own. The hardest thing to do is create the characters. The plot line is the easy bit, this is where fan fictions make life a little easier for the budding novelist. It is a fantastic way of training yourself to write, with characters and surroundings that have all been laid out for you on a silver platter.

So this is my attempt, my voyage into the world of creative writing under the banner of fan fiction.

Story Descriptions

I have a lot of stories floating around in my head, trying to keep them all straight is very difficult indeed! My first few stories have gotten good responses, I will try to reply to each review individually but please bear with me, I can't always get online easily.

"The Rambling Thoughts Of..." is a series which will see all of the major players in the Megamind universe reveal their innermost thoughts during the aftermath of the final battle with Titan. There is no real plot structure other than the direction each character's own thought processes. The characters in question are Roxanne, Hal (eww, getting inside his head was not nice), Metro Man (Actually the hardest to write, the man is just a looser), Minion, Megamind of course and finally by request, Bernard (Which was a lot more fun to write than I thought!).

"Whatever you are, be a good one" is my first attempt at a long story for the Megamind universe. It starts at the same point as the movie, with the baby Megamind crash landing within the walls of the Metro City Prison for the Criminally Gifted. Did he ever have a chance at a normal life after being raised by convicts? This story takes a look at how he the young Megamind-to-be was brought up and how his other attempts at reaching out to other people helped to shape the super villain he was to become. The baby boy named Blue by Logan, the prisoner who takes on the responsibility to taking care of the boy, finds that growing up in prison isn't really that bad. Or at least it isn't if you don't know any better. Maybe the young Metro Man isn't completely to blame. It is going slightly too slow for my liking so I'm planning on re-jigging some chapters to improve the pace slightly so keep an eye out for that. 15 chapters and finally on to the school days!

"You've got E-mail" A tiny snippet of things to come. This is a chapter from the follow up fic to "Whatever you are, be a good one." which is about half way done I think. The scene I've written about in this story is one I've been itching to get written and out there so here it is. I feel sorry for minion, after Roxanne and Megamind get together he is destined to be the eternal gooseberry. Minion needs a little love, will he find it online? Stay tuned to find out.

"Double Anniversary" Two special occasions are remembered on the same day. One is an endless source of amusement, the other a bottomless pit of sadness. How will Megamind react when he realises that one of his fondest memories is so horribly linked with one of Roxanne's worst memories. Is linked into 'Introduction' in "Challenge Accepted". This is my first attempt at writing something so emotional, I'd really love to hear what you all think of it.

"What Evil Truly looks like" Minion is scanning the news networks when he comes across on of the biggest tragedies the western world has ever faced. This is a 9/11 tribute fic written and posted to mark the 10th anniversary. I have included an authors note to explain my thoughts while I was writing this fic. Reviews for this fic will be greatly appreciated and I hope that you find it a fitting tribute. I very nearly didn't post it and at first I was planning to keep it on DocX but some positive feedback convinced me to put it on out there.

"Complicated Simplicity" Oooooh boy, is this turning out to be an epic or what? Complicated Simplicity is an AU based on the good-old 'what if Metro Man never quit' idea. This is how I see Megamind and Roxanne managing to find each other in a world where evil is never bored enough to create a new hero. This story has a lot going on. All at the same time it is fluffy, romantic, dark, funny, violent, rather rude and very NSFW in places. It started out at a T but has now earned itself M status. Any chapters with the truly NSFW stuff will be marked and will, for the most part, be void of anything truly important to the story. I hope that by writing it this way, anyone who does not want to read the smutty stuff can skip those chapters without loosing any of the bigger picture. It isn't too bad though, not what I would call porn. If this was a TV program it would be described as having "scenes of a sexual nature".
