This is a refreshing change from the usual fanfic author's approach to Megamind looking ahead to the possibility of revealing his alien anatomy to Roxanne. Instead of being all frozen up with angst, he's confident enough to make jokes with her about it. Very original and very funny!

This may be the greatest sentence ever typed in the history of Megamind fanfic. I love this story. It's cute and sexy without really being smutty and those fortune cookies seem to have provided a great prompt :)

Oh. Can I just say. The first line of this fic? Is right up there with the opening line of "Love in the Time of Cholera" for me. BRILLIANT. (If thematically completely different.) That's the ultimate opener to which I compare other first lines, and the one for this fic was lovely. That whole first paragraph is so eloquent and articulate and just...fortune cookies. I've never heard them described so perfectly before.

This whole fic was perfect, to be completely frank. Excellent lines everywhere, I could see everything, the characterizations were wonderful. I loved the bit about playing "let's pretend I don't like you" and the tastefully racy descriptions of their makeout sessions. And I was laughing right along with them at "titillated" because, seriously, I am five and that word is utterly ridiculous.

A most excellent blend of fluffy and funny. Two thumbs way, way up!

What a hilarious story! Such a believable situation, too, to be all choked up and laughing over a thought to the point of hysterics! And when he explained to Roxanne exactly why he was laughing and making a scene, I just about lost it myself. I'll never be able to listen to that line from the movie the same way again! LOL! Very funny visual image of the two of them huddling under his cape, hiding from the barrage of snack food.

And then...it actually all ends very sweetly, with cuddles, and further deepening of their relationship. This left me smiling.

Teeeheheheeeehahahahaaaaaaa! I'm never ging to think of the phrase "BOOM! In your face" in the same way again!

Is this going to stay as a one shot? I'm asking this very innocently of course. _
