please update, it's brilliant

Hello! This is really old work, but I wanted to make sure you knew it is still bringing joy to people to this day! I've been reading this over the course of a month, and tonight I read the last 3 chapters in order to finally get it off my to-do list. (It was really the only thing on my list.) This story has made me feels things and challenged my thinking in ways nothing has before, and at the same time, I'm so perplexed and entranced by how similar my thinking style, and overall view of the world around me, lines up with this fictional story about characters that exist only in the minds of people who have seen the movie. I enjoyed every bit of it, and I'm taken aback by how, even when I was only 10, someone was writing something so long, so deep and insightful and so in tune with the worldview I didn't fully aquire until right before I decided to pick up reading this. There's something special here, you've displayed a way of interpreting things that I don't think I've ever seen before from anyone else. There's something highly intellectual about it, the way you write something more human than humanity itself. Thank you for allowing me to experience this journey, and keep writing the way that you do.

Tighten was right, Roxanne didn't know him, she never even took a second to know him, the only time they ever hung out with each other is when Tighten is on the verge of tearing down the city.

If only Roxanne would just accept him for once and understand that he spent probably half his life trying to attract her, he would never go down this dark path.

But no, Roxanne simply rejects him because she doesn't know or care about him, she ferociously ripped out his heart and crushed it with a single rejection while dating some intellectual, weakling of a dweeb.

Hurt by this revelation, Tighten disowns his identity as Hal, abandons his destiny as a hero, gets over his feelings for Roxanne, and becomes the very thing he was destined to destroy: a villain.

Read this authors note, and I must interject that not only is she getting you to spell words the Canadian way, but also the right way. Anyways, great fic so far, you have certainly coloured Megamind in an interesting fashion, and it is mighty neighbourly of Bernard to stay dehydrated so long!

I was kinda worried about where this was going to go with Hal breaking out and that mature warning, but seeing Hal fail at being a villain is hilarious. Him never fully getting powers back and just continually failing would be the best.

AMAZING STORY! I just love you kept being so faithful to the original story but at the same added so much depth and intensity. You transform a kid's love story in a real, deep and meaningful love with all its up and downs. Just amazing, I'm at loss for word. I wish I could a job half as a good as you for my own story
