SALUTATIONS!! I'm POLKAHOTNESS

I focus particularly on canon reactions to creative and realistic situations on par with the original source materials. I like to dive deep into a character's psyche (the angst is what drives me most days) as well as use humor to handle difficult situations the original creators may not have dealt with outright (That's right, I'm looking at YOU, SMeyer).

My primary fandoms are:

Hey Arnold! (My biggest OTP in life is ArnoldxHelga-- although most all of my fics include a side order of GeraldxPhoebe)

The Twilight Saga (Primary focus is on The Wolf Pack; specifically Embry Call. However, I really dig Leah Clearwater And Quil Ateara V. I also have a vested interest in certain members/backstories of The Volturi).

Other interests I have that I might do something about one day include: Glee and A Series of Unfortunate Events. I am also working on my first novel which is about my favorite character derived from Greek Mythology.

—CURRENT WIPs—

Helga Unbound is a fic that I started back in 2017 after TJM came out but, due to the fandom kind of 'downsizing,' I stopped work on it around Nov 2018 HOWEVER, I am back at it and this story will never go on hiatus again! I equate Helga Unbound to 'Boy Meets World' in the fact that this is a coming-of-age story and a real SLOW BURN. With that being said, there are TONS of Shortaki moments, serious plotlines, fun plotlines and (I think) is one of the best stories I've ever written for the HA! universe. I consider this story to be my 'love letter' to the fandom. Please check it out and let me know what you think!!

(HA!)The Club focuses on a tragedy in the Pataki family from Helga's POV. This story digs deep into Helga's psyche and personality- the why's, and how's behind the way Helga ticks. In addition to some drama, there is also plenty of laughs to come and Shortaki fluff. This fic is one I am very proud of finally giving in to write. This trope which I've spent a long time daydreaming about prior to writing, is one that is very near and dear to me. Now, while I don't want to give TOO much away, you should know that this is my favorite story I've ever written. I can only hope that it will become one of yours too! *rated M for serious depictions of illness, scenes featuring explicit language and situations pertaining to the death of a major character.

(HA!) Spanish 2 Was All For You is a story I started a long time ago, only planned to be a oneshot, then updated due to popular demand. Basically, this story is an AU TJM with teenage ArnoldxHelga and jam-packed with tons of cute Shortaki moments, some serious moments, a lot of recall to the old series and loads of action/adventure. I will just say this-- it's TJM with a twist; shaken not stirred.

(HA!) No Place Like Home is a fic that I collaborated on with Spec (aka gay-arnold on tumblr) about Mr. Simmons and a tragedy that befalls him and his 'roommate' Peter. When their place burns down, it's Arnold who reaches out to try and help by offering the two of them a place at Sunset Arm Boarding House and things work out well. But when he hatches a plan to try and help even further, will his classmates and the boarders help him out, or will his plan blow up in smoke? Read this totally episode-worthy fanfic to find out

(HA!) To the Fire Escape and Beyond is my take on Romeo and Juliet with a bit of a spin on it and without all the death which is as best as I can explain it. *rated M for sexual content.

(HA!) The Fire Within Is an adorable little story about our lovely Eugene and how he discovers his sexuality by his first serious crush on none other than the very fireman that always comes to rescue him like his own personal knight-in-shining-armor. This fic was one of my favorites to write because it's just too cute for words in my opinion so if you feel like smiling so wide it hurts, give this fic a read!
