As you can guess, I am a Mega Man and 24 fan. Just look at the name.

I am an amateur writer but I have been writing for the better part of a decade. (But, only recently have I had the guts to publish some of my works.)
My stories do tend to be on the serious side, with bits of comic relief. Sometimes they can get very sappy and weepy, so, be ready.
Any stories I post will most likely involve Mega Man (the Ruby-Spears cartoon series) and 24.

My favorite fictions to read are Mega Man stories set in the Ruby-Spears cartoon universe, as well as 24 stories taking place before or during Day 1/season 1 or in the aftermath of that season.

I would appreciate reviews/comments of any story I post. I do respond to reviews (unless you're anonymous or you don't have an account here.)

Update Blog (8/8/2019): Announcement on the future of Defender of the Human Race.

I am honored and humbled to be writing a story that has entertained you and made you happy. I am also happy to have exchanged messages with some of you and even become friends with a few of you.
I made some very dear friends because of this fic and I hope to carry those through the rest of my life, and I would like to think it helped change me for the better. And I hope that Defender has touched your life in some way too.
I love Defender just as much as every one of you, maybe even more than anybody. And that is why I have made an important decision:

The next two episodes of 'Mega Man: Defender of the Human Race' (Episodes 17 and 18) will be the final episodes of the series.

I'm sure this news might be a shock or disappointing, so let me explain why I reached this decision.

First, there are not many stories left to tell with these characters. I have enough story left to tell over the course of two full episodes and the interlude which will bridge the two. But, I just didn't have it in me to come up with very many more good quality stories that would take place before 'Everlasting Peace' could be achieved. And I don't want the series to get the dreaded franchise fatigue and get old and tired. So, it is best to wrap the story up on a strong note
And Second, to be quite honest, I'm getting tired and I just don't have as much time to sink into this like I used to. This series is still a labor of love but in recent years it has been challenging to balance so many story arcs, and the process of writing started to feel like a chore with Episode 16.
But, this was not a spur-of-the-moment decision to begin wrapping up the series. I reached this decision about a year ago and I didn't want to announce it until before the last two episodes begin.

I'm sure many of you have questions, and hopefully I can answer some of them here:

Will there be a Mega Man X series set in the Defenderverse after Defender is over? ... Honestly, I doubt it.
I actually began outlining a possible spinoff after the events of Defender, but I never finished it and I knew it would end up taking several more years to finish. So, it was scrapped.

Will there be other Mega Man stories from me after Defender? ... I'm sure I'll do something, because I've been writing stories based on Ruby-Spears Mega Man for over 20 years. Some might even be set in the Defenderverse. Just don't expect anything the size and scope of Defender again.

Exactly when will the series end? ... Well, the good news is that Defender is not going to be disappearing too soon. At the rate I'm posting these, it should be a while before it's truly over. So, we will all have time to enjoy the race to the finish line. Think of this as a Farewell Tour like famous singers do when they get old. lol

What about "Year Five" of Defender? ... Episode 17 will be the 'finale' for the Year Four string of episodes that take place in 20X4; and the interlude chapters the lead to Episode 18 and Episode 18 itself will be Year Five. (Although the early part of the next interlude may take place in the last days of 20X4.)

So, there you go. The war for Everlasting Peace is nearing its end. But, it's not over yet, and neither is Defender of the Human Race. There are still plenty more thrills, drama and of course cliffhangers left, so stay tuned.
