This chapter left me very scared, the final battle is coming, but, but Megaman, Protoman and Roll do not know that dr. Wily has a very powerful new robot, I am afraid how this will end, I want everything to go well, but since I don't know much about Megaman X, so let's see what happens.

Mega Man's final line makes me think that someone's going to learn he's more than a robot.

I think Light will survive, but end up in a nearly crippled condition, like in the Day of Sigma cutscene and will spend his last few days working on Mega Man X.

Now one wonders how the Light family will survive if Dr. Light dies. Damn you Kramer, his racist bullshit better not have the Light bots classified as property not people.

Even if Wily does get arrested by the end of this chapter, it certainly won't be the end, not when there's a Zero around the corner. And a Ra Moon.

You're probably getting tired of me saying this, but no need to rush things. The wait will be worth it as long as it's delivered, and with this, I'm on the edge of my seat.

Oof, the tension ramps up. Thanks the maker Dr. Light still has a chance (the only silver lining I have is that he still needs to complete X, so he HAS to survive this), but I won't rest easy until he's finally out of danger.

Bass, Bass, Bass, can't you see it? All the power in the universe means natch if you only use it for yourself. If you don't have a reason to fight, something or someone to protect, someone you care about, being the strongest is nothing. Now he's seeing the true extent of what his obsession with being the strongest has costed him. I get the feeling that, one way or another, he's not making it out alive of this. Either Mega Man and the others take him down, or he tries to redeem himself and Wily does instead, those are the only scenarios I see for him.

On the other hand, Proto now learns a valuable lesson. Make sure your loved ones know how much you care about them while you still can, never take them for granted. Who knows what could happen that it could take away that chance. Sounds simple, but it's important. On the other hand, go Team Light! The three of them working together will be unstoppable.

So, three months for the next chapter, and the beginning of what's to be the final battle. The end draws near, and it's gonna be epic. I better get ready for anything that's to come. Keep up the good work!

The end is near, and I am actually sad because I feel that there's easily enough material for say, ten extra episodes.

I feel like both Wily and Megaman are making mistakes here. Wily is pretty much calling Mega Man out to a final battle, and he's relying on a new robot, Jadous Spheres and his defenses, pretty much.

Mega Man is doing this out of grief and rage. He's not thinking clearly. He better get a lot of clear thinking done, because he's going to be facing a God of Destruction, a thing unlike anything he ever saw before. And Mega right now can barely take Bass in a 1v1. And if Zero is beatable... Well, we know Wily has the Roboenza. He might have developed the original Maverick Virus already. Which would allow Wily to do what Dr. Weil did: Have one super-robot under his control controlling the others for him. And Omega was pretty much the weapon Wily created, a WMD. The individual we call "Zero" was pretty much a happy accident.

Of course the military had a strike plan long ready. I do hope we see them with some new cool gear. Say, Power Armor and some of the nifty tech The Conduit and Mr. Black had.

So many sad and endearing scenes.

I'm surprised Kalinka wans't seeing the debate.

Ironically, I suspect no one would hassle Kalinka at the University.

Dr. Light is in a pretty bad state. I suspect that he will survive, but with consequences. He might come out of this weakened and perish earlier than his age would show.

"Dr. Light has no surviving relatives in this country" does that mean he has surviving relatives elsewhere? Interesting.

Loooool at the Robot Master party. These guys have been getting rekt so long, its like they needed this.

Bass is not happy at all. I'm surprised he didn't let Wily hear it then and there. Wily is clearly aware of how much of a rebel Bass is.

Surprised Proto didn't remember Soprano when he said not all things Wily made are bad.

I wonder if William is the cause of Ra Moon going amok? Or does he end up saving the day somehow?

I hope we get to see some of X before the end. And Duo, especially Duo and Bass.

Roll's titanium vest is cool. How she look like? Girl was overdue some new gear, can't have the boys getting all the cool gear.

This. Was. AMAZING! From the sadness at the hospital to the jubilation at Skull Fortres to the VERY worrying Jadous Sphere shard gun...everything feels like it's spiraling towards a climax even with one more episode to go-the heartwrenching goodbyes, Wily's threats to Bass, everyone remembering what they're fighting for, Dr. Light's condition...I felt like I was there too, cheering them on despite what had happened! Let's do this, everyone! For all that have suffered!

Thank you very much for the continuation, although I am worried about Dr. Light, I hope that he recovers and does not die, Mega, Roll and Proto must be suffering a lot. Bass you did, well following Willy's orders.
Now the Light family will fall into the trap that Wily had planned, I'm worried about what their ultimate robot will do to them :(

Now I'll probably never get that image out of my head: Dr. Light looking like Mario when he was younger. Not that I'm gonna complain of course. For the record, I never got the chance to watch that particular episode when the cartoon was airing on TV here, so I might check it out now XD

But well, man, I knew hell was gonna break loose on this chapter, but Dr. Light getting shot?! And by Bass, to top it off?! Really, if this doesn't make him understand how much pain he's causing to Roll, I don't know what will. If he keeps going, Roll will eventually get caught on the crossfire herself, and he'll only have himself responsible for it. No matter if he wasn't aiming for Dr. Light, she's NOT going to forgive that one easily.

So then, if I'm counting well, we've got three more chapters to end this episode, right? After this, I can only imagine what's gonna happen in that time, and then we enter the grand finale. The wait's gonna kill me until then, but I'll bear it. I want to see this to the very end.

Where do I begin...

Well, Wily's infiltration plan is rather brilliant. Using his own moles as bait to distract from the assault, damn clever.

Seeing Dr. Light reminiscing about his early life is interesting. Lol at Dr. Mario. Hearing classical music at night... REBELIOUSLY. I suspect Light hides a less classical musical taste than he shows. I bet rock operas are his guilty pleasures. I mean, Blues, Rock, and Roll. You ain't fooling anyone, Doc.

The sad thing, is that some of what Light says, seems to hint that there is still a chance to save Wily. I wonder why Light never had any natural family... Never found a special someone?

Honestly I expected Wily to just kidnap the candidates. This is far more devious.

Well, Mega Man and his siblings will definitely try to break Skull Fortress this time. I suspect we will get a "I am more than a robot, Wily" moment.

Any chance we get some newer robot master rolling out of the production lines? Maybe some new... GEAR? Get it, GEAR? As in... Well, you know. Makes time stop and stuff go boom.

Seems that Dr. Wily realized that the Trio works better as a team.

Mega Man vs Pharaoh Man was awesome. Once again, Pharaoh Man shows he is a No-Bullshit fighter. Memetic Rematch! Even indeed.

Guess the Proto Man distrust levels are going to sink down. Well, except for the paranoics going all "So what if Proto Man broke Skull Fortress by himself, defeated Bass in 1v1 combat so hard Bass lost the will to function, beat all Robot Masters, exploded five giant battle bots of Wily and threw the man himself into jail? All in live holovision? Clearly this is just part of his infiltration plan and in cahoots with Wily."

Albano is crazy, but crazy cool. Perfect Captain Commando material?

Proto Man dealing with good fame would be fun.

William Cochrane reveals itself as not being as low as he seems. That was nice of him. Still, we know he is up to something.

That twist, "damn" as Bass would say. I did not expected that AT all.

I think Bass just broke. Bass seems to have this Predator-style honor, interested in defeating the most powerful combatants and proving his might. Not shooting down civvies. Bass in the games became very rebellious since The Power Fighters, because of his being programmed to kill Mega Man. Cue Bass fighting alongside Mega Man because only HE can kill Mega Man.

(Btw I'm sad we never got a Defender!King. Mega Man and Bass teaming up to fight King and later Rockman Shadow, would be hilarious)

But even games-Bass knew, like any Robot Master, that he was created by humans and there were limits. Well, this Bass just got ordered to break the limits... And he just did on the worse person possible.

I'm actually surprised by Wily's reaction. Seems like a sign the old man is finally losing it.

I wonder if Dr. Wily has started thinking about his mortality. In the games, he did, and its clear that by the time of Megaman X5, that Dr. Wily, or a copy of some sort, is around in 21XX. What's the point of ruling the world for a few years... When you can do it forever?

And all the while, the shadow of the Dueling Doomsdays hangs over all. I'm half-expecting Quint or something to come back and reveal some grim alternate future.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH THAT ENDING

THE ENTIRE CHAPTER WAS EPIC and it just kept building and building and I loved the funny parts as well as the serious ones (Super Mario! XD) but THAT ENDING.

Ohhh. Ohh noo. I hope Dr. Light will make it. Even a younger healthier person would struggle after a blow like that. :(
