Wow, my profile has been in dire need of updating since...well, forever.

When I first started here, I was a single college student indulging in a bit of fan fancy by writing sporadic fanfiction. I've since graduated college and am now a stay-at-home mom with three little girls. I majored in English (emphases in creative writing and editing), but thanks to a natural talent I've been endeavoring to improve, am also quite prolific with art. I started a webmanga several years ago that has been sorely neglected while I went on to (lots and lots of) other projects, and am currently working on improving the script for the manga before I continue. I also try to hit up the local conventions each year, and can be found on DeviantArt under the usernames ah-kaziya (art) and kogarashi (writings; not updated as often, but includes original fiction and poetry). What currently exists of my manga can be found on my personal website, (Summoner's Garden).

In my writing, both original and fanfiction, I try to create stories that are compelling and moving (or at least entertaining and interesting), that have a point and are close to what I would want to read. I don't want to write something that's just me and some of my favorite characters acting egregiously out of character while we play party games, and unless I have a good reason for it, I try very hard to keep canon characters close to their official personalities. When I (rarely) write fanfiction, I want the characters to feel real, to act like they logically should.

I won't exactly be prolific in posting to this site, if only because I have a relatively limited list of fanfiction ideas I want to pursue and (after the long hiatus I took during "Falling into Darkness") I want to make sure to have a good portion of each story done before I even start posting the chapters to the site.
