Author has written 6 stories for Sonic the Hedgehog. Who is this tedious specimin? About a year ago, and I can't even remember how, I managed to find a fanfic Niel Gaiman had written about The Matrix. And it was good, too. It involved some aliens threatening the Machines that they'd drop the moon on Austraila. I was somewhat taken aback by this. Real authors write fanfiction? Surely not?! But 'twas indeed so, and suddenly, the practice didn't seem so intellectually lazy any more. Still quite lazy, but nonetheless... I like writing. I like pre-existing canons. I have tacit endorsement from Niel Gaiman. Altogether, I think that's enough to give it a try. And so I occasionally write stuff, 'cos it's fun. I'll be the first to admit that I don't have any particular skill with language, but I'm not trying to become a professional author. Which gives me carte blanche to write as much drivel as I want, by my reckoning. Modus operandi It's not that I have no other interests beyond Sonic the Hedgehog. Honest! But large portions of my early childhood were spent in the trenches, fighting for Sega during the Console Wars, and this kinda directs my writing preferences. Capiche? Anyhow, I'm still new (and bad; don't forget bad) at this whole fanfiction business. While I'm not gonna pack up my Internet and cry in a corner if I don't get any reviews (he says, a single tear rolling down his cheek), it is nice to get feedback and pointers, such that I might not suck quite so much in future. Currently making excuses about his slow writing because What are you complainin' about!? I finished City In The Image Of Man eventually, didn't I? And it only took me... about twice as long as all my other stories put together. Well. FINE. Maybe you do have reason to complain. Anyway, this man is currently working on a Horror story, regarding a most unexpected Sonic topic. And considering the amount of dismembered gore I put in my K-rated adventure mystery, I'm going to have to be rather above-and-beyond in order to justify a Horror tag, aren't I? STAY TUNED! Favourite character It changes all the time, to be fair. At the moment I'm finding myself a big fan of Chaos. He's mute, made of jelly, and (one can only presume) melts into the water table to sneak around with liquidity when no-one's looking. Plus, he has better stretchy arms than the Werehog. On the negative side, he killed Pachacamac. And Pachacamac was awesome. Chaos is still great, though. |
