Midnightlyras has been writing for herself for about twenty years, starting when she was in elementary school. It started with writing down her strange dreams that blossomed into writing beyond the dream. Furthering the story to a before and after the dreamy scene because she wondered 'why' and 'what then'.

Midnightlyras never shared her writing beyond her siblings until she discovered the fanfiction website while she was in college (A drawback of not having internet at home growing up). She had dabbled in fanfiction without even realizing it was a thing. Writing was a de-stresser for her and, upon the discovery of fanfiction.net, eventually became a driving force for her creativity. She was on hiatus for a few years while she got married and had two beautiful babies, but she is back.

And thanks to all of those who support her, before just writing for herself, she is actually finishing her stories.
