![]() Author has written 17 stories for Sherlock, Alice in Wonderland, Mythology, Vampire Diaries, Doctor Who, Master and Commander, and Thor. Welcome to the profile of Missing Triforce! Thank you for stopping by. This page is more an archive than a lively, updating place. My writing has improved by leaps and bounds over the years, but it all started here, with me tinkering around with characters and styles. Enjoy it as you like, but be warned that it's painful, early artist stuff, with some questionable storytelling choices and content. I'm considering taking down and re-posting edited versions, but so far have not had the time. For longtime fans, thank you for your support and your own lovely stories! You inspired me and that inspiration carried me through so much. Did you find me through Charlotte Blackwood?: Isn't she amazing? For those who don't know, Charlotte, xyellowconverse, Freakin-Little, and I wrote the epic Weasley brothers/Wilde sisters family saga "Love is a Battlefield" together Don't forget to check out Charlotte's first original novella, Those We Trust. It's a psychological thriller and very short, easy for a train/car ride or a night-in. And only $3.99! Here's the description: "Harmony Boyd is an aspiring writer and college student who falls in love with a tabooed man, and that love is returned. What she doesn't know is someone close to her is watching everything. What will the consequences of her actions be, for her and everyone around her?" You can purchase Those We Trust on Smashwords dot com, search for it under the title or by the author name, Charlotte Blackwood. Story Notes: For "The Hatter, On Alice": This is more like a character relationship study than a story. It draws from the original Lewis Carroll Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass in addition to a fan webcomic called "When Curiosity Met Insanity" (WCMI) by Bri-chan and Rain. My ficlet takes place after Chapter 14. "Falling Through Time & Relative Dimensions" was the result of a writing prompt given to me on Tumblr. As it says in the little author intro, I have no plans currently to continue it. "You Should Have Let Me Sleep" was my massive crossover project to smoosh all my fandoms together. It remains unfinished and will likely remain so. If you would like to know the ending, please feel free to message me. Please be gentle with yourself and mind the content warnings. For my non-AU BBC Sherlock fics: If you want to put them in chronological order it would be "Who Knew?" (up to The Final Problem & The Empty House) "Desiccated Fireworks" (which would happen during the second chapter of "Who Knew?" but from Moran & Moriarty's POV), "Go to Sleep" (the first months after Sherlock returns/a bit after they've started cases again), "To Dispel My Nightmares" (6-7 months after Sherlock returns), "After" (a week or two after the final events of TDMN), "God Save the Child" (a month later), "It All Ends After This" (around two years later), "Let's Just See a Moment"(another two years). What you see in my story thing is the order I wrote them in, which bounces them all over the place. "History of a Vampyre" is an alternate universe BBC Sherlock songfic. In ACD canon terms, it chronicles from two years before "A Study in Scarlet" to the events following "The Final Problem," totally ignoring The Great Hiatus and "The Adventure of the Empty House." "Howl" and its sequel "Bisclavert" are alternate universe BBC Sherlock fics featuring dark!werewolf!John. "Howl" begins sometime after "The Great Game" episode. "Bisclavert" begins shortly after "Howl" ends and encompasses all of Season 2. "A Scandal of Belgravia" happens, but is not mentioned or referred to while "Hounds" and "Fall" are incorporated into the story. "Howl" was designed to be a supernatural reverse-Riechenbach, and an experimentation with the stream of consciousness writing style. "Bisclavert" turned into...lots of things semi-on-accident? It's part-study of John Watson's character, part-how to heal from extreme grief if you're Sherlock Holmes, part-Missing Triforce ponders polyamorous relationships and the tangled web of the heart (really now: GL/SH/MH/JW), and mostly Missing Triforce literally goes wherever a story takes her and extremely odd things result. You can all thank WaffleNinja for lots of the plot bunnies of "Bisclavert." A sequel to Bisclavert doesn't seem very likely now. I'm working so hard on my original fiction. I transformed "Howl" into a piece of original fiction, which has been published in Ink and Locket Press' LGBTQ YA anthology Warriors: A Collection of Short Stories. Warriors is available through Amazon. In addition to "Howl," it collects eleven marvelous stories with heroes of all stripes and body types who just happen to be on the LGBTQ spectrum. The other authors are truly great artists, and the book as a whole is an inspiration. "The Traveler: an act in five parts" is very, very alternate universe Sherlock. Or is it? It has its own timeline, which is posted as the last chapter. This story is my attempt at mindfuckery. A link to "Love is a Battlefield" is under the Favorite Stories tab.
