Hi, I'm Emrose. I'm a college graduate with a BA in English, and I start as a Graduate student in the fall. I also love British television, traveling, The Lion King, chocolate, country music, running in the mornings, and writing anything and everything. Being around books all day is pretty much the greatest thing I can imagine. Fanfiction has turned into a kind of hobby for me. I adore so many of the characters in the fabulous universes that other talented people create, and I like to take a break from writing in my own worlds to play in others' sometimes.

I go through phases fairly quickly, but my current love is anything Sherlock Holmes. I also like nerdy things like superheroes, steampunk, Star Wars, Shakespeare, and the classics, though I obviously haven't explored too many fandoms yet. I believe in knowing something inside and out before you write it, so I stick to universes I'm completely comfortable with ("obsessed with at the time" may be more technically correct).

I do not write or read slash pieces, so don't look for anything of that nature here.

I'll do my best to finish what I start, but sometimes I can't promise things when life goes crazy on me. Writing is a priority...other things are also priorities. So trust me when I say I'll never abandon anything if I can help it and we'll go from there.
