I really like this. From Lestrade's presence at Mary's death, I am certain he knew about her past by then. How he found out however is never explored on the show so I like your AU idea.

Dude! I quite liked this! I'm always a sucker for Lestrade POVs, especially when about Sherlock and/or John and their relationship, so this was just A plus plus all around.

I agree about how it came off in the show with Lestrade wanting to video Sherlock - it's a dangerous line to tread, between friendly playing around and seriously overstepping, and I like this version more for sure. _

I also really liked the way you wrote this! Greg's POV was written well, I loved the touches with Sherlock speaking in Serbian and recognising and latching onto John, and it was just a really, really fun read.

I love it! Perfect characterisation of Lestrade, John and Sherlock. I'm so glad I read this because, like you, I thought it was particularly odd of Lestrade to hint at the fact that he was going to take advantage of Sherlock's condition, as I don't think he'd be that malicious. But this resolves the whole thing for me. Headcanon accepted!

Well since Sherlock fled we never did get to see if Lestrade would have went through with it or not. I rather like to think that if faced with Sherlock he wouldn't have. Love the fic by the way. Quite ingenious.
