what a lovely way to burn chapter 1 . 7/26/2019 WNDOIRNQKOA i love the way sherlock was trying to say mary had shot him. this entire story was amazing! |
Guest chapter 1 . 2/2/2019 That was amazing! At first when he said 'Quite contrary,' I started 'Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary, how does your garden grow?' and then when it came up I was like 0_0 |
XYZArtemis chapter 1 . 1/12/2019 Nicely done! Regarding the ending, I feel like Lestrade is much cleverer than people realize :) |
LordHelixSupreme chapter 1 . 6/7/2018 I saw the Serbian and instantly started reading it in Russian out of habit so I guess Greg isn't the only one who got that wrong XD |
AmandaBaker852 chapter 1 . 4/12/2018 I really like this. From Lestrade's presence at Mary's death, I am certain he knew about her past by then. How he found out however is never explored on the show so I like your AU idea. |
O'Donnell chapter 1 . 10/27/2017 I like this, and I like your motive for writing it - my thoughts exactly on the subject. Lovely jobm thank you. |
Fawkes Flame chapter 1 . 10/2/2017 loved it, would like to read more of your work! |
Henry Vyne chapter 1 . 8/21/2017 Dude! I quite liked this! I'm always a sucker for Lestrade POVs, especially when about Sherlock and/or John and their relationship, so this was just A plus plus all around. I agree about how it came off in the show with Lestrade wanting to video Sherlock - it's a dangerous line to tread, between friendly playing around and seriously overstepping, and I like this version more for sure. _ I also really liked the way you wrote this! Greg's POV was written well, I loved the touches with Sherlock speaking in Serbian and recognising and latching onto John, and it was just a really, really fun read. Thank you for working on and sharing this! "Fuck Irene Adler, it was Dr. Watson who deserved to be treated to dinner." A plus 10/10 would read again |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/1/2017 Wow. That was really good! |
E. J. Morgan chapter 1 . 1/24/2017 Very clever! It's really something Sherlock would come up with, even in a half-unconscious state. |
J chapter 1 . 1/6/2017 Brilliant, loved it! |
Children of the valar chapter 1 . 8/29/2016 I love this. Totally agree with you about how cruel Lestrade seemed. I loved the idea you brought with "Mary, Mary. Quite the contrary.". Beautiful writing, thank you for this... I did not know I needed it until I read it. |
Rookblonkorules chapter 1 . 6/25/2016 Oh my goodness! That was amazing! |
Suzie chapter 1 . 2/3/2016 I love it! Perfect characterisation of Lestrade, John and Sherlock. I'm so glad I read this because, like you, I thought it was particularly odd of Lestrade to hint at the fact that he was going to take advantage of Sherlock's condition, as I don't think he'd be that malicious. But this resolves the whole thing for me. Headcanon accepted! |
sleipnirfenris chapter 1 . 8/16/2015 Well since Sherlock fled we never did get to see if Lestrade would have went through with it or not. I rather like to think that if faced with Sherlock he wouldn't have. Love the fic by the way. Quite ingenious. |
