Author has written 7 stories for Bones, Law and Order: SVU, Twilight, Maximum Ride, and Ironman. "Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read" - Unknown. (gotta love 'em) Name: Jenna Raleigh (AKA: Jenanananana, Squishy, and many others) Age: 16 Hobbies: Playing video games, listening to music, reading, and -most importantly- writing. I love to write. Granted, I'm not as good with fanfiction as I am with regular writing, because with regular I can do whatever I want and am not stuck within the confines of such fandom. that's why I enjoy oneshots and songfics, because that one stroke of creative writing geneious shows how good a writer can be compared to a long, drawn out story with constant filler and no action (much like my Déjà Vu story). I love to write, and, despite not having too too much on here, there are so many other stories and fanfics that will go unread by anyone but me because they're either to lame or I don't feel like sharing that piece of work. Anyways, on with it: Favorite books/series/authors: Well, there are a lot but my main favorites are: Immortals (series by Tamora Pierce... actually anything by Tamora Pierce is good), Maximum Ride series, Hawksong by Amelia-Atwater Rhodes, Warrior series (all) by Erin Hunter, Inheritance cycle, anything by Iris Johansen, 30 Days of Night books, and a collection of manga. There are aso many others i like but... can't remember them at the moment --rubs back of head sheepisly-- Favorite music: Music is my life. I don't play anything except the violin, a few chords on guitar, and a few select songs on piano but i love listening to it. A few of my favorite bands are Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Daughtry, Creed, Green Day, Nickelback, Panic! at the Disco, Relient k, Shinedown, Skillet, 3 Doors Down, and there are others with a few songs i love. Oh, and Josh Groban, surprisingly, is also one of my favorites. Favorite movies: Uh... movies are good but they have to have something... something that defines them for me and they have to be well directed. There are a few i love: 30 Days of Night, 28 Weeks Later, Sleepy Hollow, Iron Man, I Am Legend, and some others. Favorite Games: There are a LOT of games. Games in my life come second only to music. My favorites? Assassin's Creed series (kick butt action and amazing background story), Kingdom Hearts series, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Guitar Hero (haha music video game), and Call of Duty: WaW, MW, & MW2 (but i hate all of the cheaters on there). there are countless others i like but i could play these over and over and never get tired of them. A list of stupid criminals Chicago A man was wanted for throwing bricks through jewelry store windows and making off with the loot. He was arrested last night after throwing a brick into a Plexiglas window...the brick bounced back, hit him in the head and knocked him cold until the police got there. -A lawyer defending a man accused of burglary tried this creative defense: "My client merely inserted his arm into the window and removed a few trifling articles. His arm is not himself, and I fail to see how you can punish the whole individual for an offense committed by his limb." "Well put," the judge replied. "Using your logic, I sentence the defendant's arm to one year's imprisonment. He can accompany it or not, as he chooses." The defendant smiled. With his lawyer's assistance he detached his artificial limb, laid it on the bench, and walked out. -An unidentified man in Buenos Aires pushed his wife out of an eighth-floor window but his plan to kill her failed when she became entangled in some power cables below. Seeing she was still alive, the man jumped and tried to land on top of her. He missed... -Burglars in Larch Barrens, MD, tried to cut through a safe using a Laser Tag gun. Don’t knock on death’s door. Ring the bell and run. He hates that. When someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles to frown about it but it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and punch the crap out of them. Don't run in the school hall, gliding is more fun! The newscaster is the person who says "Good evening" and then tells you why it's not. They say guns don't kill people, people kill people. Well, I'm pretty sure the guns help because if you stood there and shouted 'BANG' I don't think you'd kill a lot of people. What happens if you get scared half to death twice? I ran with scissors, and lived! An apple a day keeps the doctor away, if well aimed. Everything here is edible. I'm edible, but that is called cannibalism and is frowned upon in most societies. Education is important, school however, is another matter. I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound as they go by. A loser is a window washer on the 44th floor who steps back to admire his work. If you can stay calm when all around you is complete chaos, you probably haven't fully understood the situation. When life gives you lemons, make grape juice. Then sit back and watch the world wonder how you did it. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. My favorite word is sarcasm. Everyone has a wild side-me and my friends just prefer to make them public I find "good morning" a contradiction of terms I'm not so good at advice. Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment? I tried sniffing Coke once. Unfortunately, the ice cubes just got stuck in my nose. You laugh, I laugh. You cry, I cry. You hurt, I hurt. You jump off a bridge, I get a paddle boat and save your stupid butt. News Update (in case you care) ~ 7-5-10 I'm currently re-writing the Law & Order:SVU fic - Fear. It's coming along slowly but... slowly. Nothing's really inspired me to work on it all that much. I'm trying but, I'm kind of stuck again. I've started the planning on a different story, not giving too much away on that one just in case I plan on not continuing it. It's still in the very early stages. News Update (in case you care) ~ 10-4-10 I haven't gotten any farther on the Law & Order: SVU fic, and I fear it may not be finished for a while, if ever. It's turning out to be even more complicated than I though, and I'm tempted to just go on a marathon of SVU to figure out how the characters tick, to see how they react to different scenarios or what works with their character or what doesnt. I'm putting way too much into this, aren't I? The other story, which is to be a Twilight one, is another work in progress that I don't think will happen any time soon. The planning is done, but AU world is becoming more extensive than I thought it would be and is requiring a lot more work than I thought it would initially. Characters seem to have their own personalities seperate from Twilight. It's annoying and exhilirating at the same time. I have also been working on other projects, one shots mostly, that I have been wanting to write. It would be the perfect thing, being as I'm so swamped with school work (stupid Junior year) that I don't have the energy to be able to juggle school work, video games, reading, AND a full story. So, that's that. When I get more info, I will share it with any who care. |
